Well now look at that. Helpful and not a hint of smut. Must be the heat. And you're pretending you use public transport too, just to make us all feel better. Don't try being smart, that's so very middle class. Seriously, I have nothing against the public. My house wouldn't be cleaned without them for one thing. Now get back to your whippets or whatever it is you do in "The North".

Feel do much better now that I know @ryan has challenges getting out of Victoria too though in truth I'm even worse getting in, I once failed to find the station entirely which considering it's size is something of an achievement I think. Hampstead no problems finding and it's all very civilized there and rather lovely.

On my last trip I asked driver to take me to Victoria Rail Station and they dropped me at the Gatwick Express machines. I was so overwhelmed by trying to find the other trains to Gatwick that I went ahead and took the more expensive express

I once walked to Charing cross having failed to find Victoria station having got off the Oxford express, I swear that station moves.
