Up until quite recently actors, including leading actors, at the NT used to appear in several productions simultaneously in rep. What really counts against it being at the NT is that with a standard-issue Eyre production it would only fit in the Dorfmann but old plays are banned from being in there, doubt he would agree to do it in either of the other spaces. Almeida maybe. |
