I could actually see it working - but I would prefer it to be an original score rather than just using songs from the two periods.

I'm a big fan of loveable time travelling bigamist Gary Sparrow to the extent I have rewatched the entire series in the past year and can definitely see this working

“Featuring hits from the 1980’s and 1940’s including With A Little Help From My Friends, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Time After Time, Addicted to Love, Puttin' On The Ritz, Just The Way You Are, In The Mood “
The first two below, really don’t suggest those decades to me. Not auspicious. With A Little Help From My Friends, 1967 Puttin' On The Ritz, 1929 Just The Way You Are, 1977 In The Mood 1939
That's 3/7 correct.

This fits with the premise of the series, though, since Gary makes his money back in the 40s by claiming to have written pop songs from later decades.
Not a very prestigious "world premiere" although they do claim they are working towards a West End production

It’s half time here in Romford. So far we have all the elements of a fantastic event with some bold and unique choices.
A transfer is guaranteed.

Full time and the crowd & cast are in the car park demanding more. A unique and moving experience.
Beg, borrow or buy a ticket now. You won’t regret it.

If they could get Cary Nope Felcher to play Gary, surely they'd be on to a winner?

There is a role for CHF & Alexandra here. In Romford. Singing. On a stage that was made for them. To an audience who know what they like.

I think we’ve got the picture. It’s a load of old pants.
Not surprised either because the original tv show was dreadful.

I think we’ve got the picture. It’s a load of old pants. Not surprised either because the original tv show was dreadful. I’m shocked and appalled that an administrator should put word into a contributor’s mouth, and worse, make judgements on a show it has not seen. Resign!

I can’t tell from these reviews if I should try and change my plans for the week and get to Romford, or not...

I can’t tell from these reviews if I should try and change my plans for the week and get to Romford, or not... And that’s because of the blatant conspiracy between our self-appointed arbiters of good taste who invent fake news and refuse to do the decent thing and resign. Down with the evil oppressors! Free the Romford four! Hold the bananas!

I’ve heard the Old Vic are planning to transfer it in place of the last couple of weeks of “Sylvia”
