Well. The set has a lovely set of french doors. After witnessing something similar in 'My Night With Reg' I was primed for Adam Garcia to strip off at the window. Alas he doesn't. However, I am pleased to report that he is still foxy with a capital F-O-X-Y. The play (the last one by Kevin Elyot) jumps about in time with intertwining characters and it's fascinating (and anger-inducing) to see how some things haven't changed since the 1960s for some gay men. There are some terrific performances, particularly from Paul Higgins and Hugh Ross and Philip Bretherton as the two uncles. And did I say that Adam Garcia looks foxy? When he announced that he does a little under the shirt action on the side, I almost checked my pockets for change. The first scene is rather funny (and filled with innuendo) but it could do with a bit of zipping along and Bryony Hannah looks exactly the same whether she's playing 1960s Isabel or old lady Isabel. At least put a wig on love. One plot point that I don't know whether I'm making up or just wasn't explored . . . {Adam Garcia NSFW. Only kidding.} . . is Adam Garcia's estate agent character supposed to be Isabel's son, who was taken away by Adam Garcia as the gardener? If so, the fact that he's providing favours to his half-brother is more than just a bit icky and yet nobody mentions it!

I was once sleeping with somebody who looked like Adam Garcia. And I share a chiropodist with Hugh Ross.
