Anyone else at the Noel Coward theatre this afternoon?
A real treat (as it always is!)
Hosted by Clive Rowe who also performed, and featuring twelve really talented students singing a Sondheim and newly-composed song.
A wonderful afternoon!

Every year I say we are going to go as we are members of the Sondheim Society, and every year we always seem never to get there! grrrr

I was at the Cadogen Hall 'Smiles' concert last week and found yesterday afternoon much more enjoyable.
Not only do you get 12 Sondheim songs performed brilliantly by artists of the future, but also hear 12 newly-composed songs by musical theatre composers of the future.
Plus guest performances by Clive Rowe and Janie Dee!
Don't miss next year!

The winner by the way was Izuka Hoyle, ex Arts Ed, now performing in 'Working' at Southwark Play house.

Janie Dee did 'Not getting married' again. You could hear the words this time, accompanied by piano rather than a rather large orchestra!
