There’s an absolutely preposterous anecdote about flying to London on Concorde trying to get to the Adelphi for Sunset Boulevard curtain up which I’m sure has a grain of truth in it somewhere. Very entertaining anyway.

This was my second audio book, the first was for bookclub and it was the Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry. I did not want to read it as I had recently watched the film but a talking book was the perfect link and of course it had so much more detail in compared to the film ...anyway, back to the topic of theatre, I would definitely listen to another autobiography read by the author. If anyone can recommend any other audio books in a similar vein then fire away. Please and ta
