It will also confuse me endlessly as we have The Other Room in Cardiff. Yes I am easily confused. and The Other Place studio theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon and The Other Plaice fish and chip shop in Frinton-on-Sea.

Good old Baz! He certainly knows how to steal someone's thunder!
Don't know anything about this musical, but looks interesting from a quick look on Wikipedia...

Andrew Lippa did a show at the Menier a couple of years ago which included some songs from Wild Party. Really liked the music.

Also in the first season of 'The Other Palace' are musicals: 'Whisper House' and 'La Strada'. 'Official' confirmation at noon.

Also, a children targeted production of 'The Little Beasts' and NYMT 'Imaginary A New Musical' and NYMT 'Sunday in the Park with George', all for runs that are a couple days long.

Whisper House sounds fascinating from the email, what's your opinion, having a bit more knowledge than that, charliec?

I can't remember that much having gone to the show straight from a flight from London, but the story was really intriguing and the music was beautiful. Much more Spring Awakening than American Psycho.

So what was the hidden message exactly? I'm glad you asked that. Yes, a good question!! haha. I *think* that red sign behind the seat looks pretty identical to the 'The' part of the new 'The Other Palace' logo. Same angle, same colour, looks like it could be the same typeface as well. On top of a silly name, it's a silly logo. It should be 'The Palace' with 'Other' pasted over it. With 'The' plastered over 'Other', you can't even make out that the word is 'Other' so you've no idea it's supposed to be 'The Other Palace'!! EDIT: Since realised that I'm an idiot at that 'The' is part of the spelling of 'Other'. Just took me abnormally long to adjust to that!

I thought that, but the O and the R are on either side of the THE so it still spells Other. It's just that the colours mean you don't notice the O and the R.

As soon as I typed the above I realised that that's EXACTLY what it's supposed to be and I'm an idiot!!!!! haha. Might be just me but it's taken me ages to adjust to the fact that the 'The' is of course part of the word 'Other'. Duh!!! What a doofus (me).

Seems the "message" wasn't nearly as exciting as the new shows that have been announced. Oh well! Fun while it lasted...
