With all its talk of 'Star names to be announced' the fact they have quoted 'Coydon panto' and 'Purely Way' makes me think that whoever is putting this show together hasn't got a pot to do a proverbial one in. Croydon hasn't had anyone semi-respectable in any of its Pantos in donkeys years, but I've already booked to see Lazarus and Saint Joan over the holiday period 'up town' so not that bothered what is happening here (I think the last panto I saw in Croydon had either Cilla Black or Harry H. Corbett in it (or maybe even both), which gives you an idea of the length of time since I've seen a panto)

You'd have to be on roller skates yourself to slam a full bottle of rosé down in 20 minutes! Speak for yourself Burly, I'm still young enough to neck bottles like they are grape juice

Have booked to see 'Scrooge' at the lovely Pitlochry Festival Theatre. Also going to 'Mamma Mia' at the Edinburgh Playhouse.
Will probably go to a panto at some point; either Aladdin at the SECC with Marti Pellow or Cinderella at the King's Theatre with Gregor Fisher.
The Theatre Royal in Glasgow have The Commitments.

There's no local theatres outside of London which hold a touring musical for Christmas (not to my knowledge anyway) but there's the West End up the road to make up for it! Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff almost always has a largescale touring musical over Christmas. This year, it's Mary Poppins.

Oh sorry, I just realised in my quote I was supposed to say inside of London not outside!
