www.murderfortwo.co.uk/I saw this charming piece tonight a week later than intended as I could get there for press night last week due to the weather. Chipping Norton theatre is a wonderful little space. About 120 seats. Very quaint. The musical is a two hander/one piano murder mystery full of clever characterisation and witty lyrics. The musical is not hugely memorable but certainly works in context as a series of well crafted pastiches. The two cast are great both vocally and physically It is a good, if unchallenging, night out if it is coming to a space near you.

I had a look, it is a nightmare to get to by public transport. I do drive but would be expensive to drive to like a tank of petrol, also it is a nonsense to drive that far to see a show, which is a shame as I have just been to Great Malvern for the first time and that is a wonderful train ride through the lovely Cotswolds.

There are a range of other venues that might be easier.
The Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds 9th - 12th October
Cast, Doncaster 15th - 16th October
Lichfield Garrick Theatre 17th - 19th October
The Quarry Theatre, Bedford 25th - 26th October
Mercury Theatre, Colchester 29th - 30th October
Theatre Royal, Winchester 31st October - 2nd November
New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich 5th - 9th November
The Corn Exchange, Newbury 12th - 13th November
Berry Theatre, Eastleigh 14th November Tacchi Morris Arts Centre, Taunton 15th - 16th November
Quite extensive from such a tiny venue

Ah, so nice to see someone make a thread for this!
This is my neck of the woods and I've been involved with that theatre for more time than I care to admit. Great show - do check it out if it comes near you on tour!
(And yes, public transport is a Nightmare 😂)

I might catch this in one of the venues you posted so kindly. I think I did see this once at the Arts Theatre in London with Ramin Karimloo & Kerry Ellis?

Think you're confusing it with Murder Ballad - which is wildly different!

Chipping is served with a direct bus from Oxford so it is possible on public transport particularly if you can combine it with a show in Oxford.
But being able to drive the 14 miles from home does help!

Think you're confusing it with Murder Ballad - which is wildly different! Oh it was Murder Ballad, my bad. So has Murder For Two played here? I have a feeing I have seen it. Chipping is served with a direct bus from Oxford so it is possible on public transport particularly if you can combine it with a show in Oxford. But being able to drive the 14 miles from home does help! I cannot get down this week as The Cripple of Innishmore in Liverpool on Saturday, think I need to bookmark that venue and in the summer combine with a visit to the zoo in Burford. Might get down to the tour.

Saw this twice at the Other Palace some years ago. It is good fun.
