Couldn’t help but notice the amount of covers on tonight on West End Understudies, plus N2N’s announced cover run. Is there some reason for this or just coincidence?

A scheduled Tuesday afternoon cover run (invited guests only) sounds fairly standard to me.
Otherwise, with cast summer holidays and some unplanned absences, I don’t think it’s any worse than any other year. West End Understudies must just have information earlier than usual. Could be a good week for people who try and catch second and third covers.

I was lucky enough to be at the N2N cover run. It was a truly remarkable experience to be part of.
Is this the norm for all shows to do once during their runs then?
