I´m guessing at the Coli (hopefully not!) or CFT. Curious as to how they´ll handle the casting, given the usual difficulties to cast this show authentically in the UK. But it´s such a stunning score I´m glad it may come back. Won't be the Coli. |

Rob Houchen is too old to play Tony now I would say. I would hope the cast would be mostly unknowns so they are age appropriate.
I kinda hope this is the Van Hove version or if not a non traditional production.

The Van Hove WSS was wonderful I thought.
Amazed they didn’t try and reopen it once Bway started up again

Rob Houchen is too old to play Tony now I would say. I would hope the cast would be mostly unknowns so they are age appropriate. I kinda hope this is the Van Hove version or if not a non traditional production. I think he’s far too caucasian also. If there’s the latino talent out there it should be used just like Ansel Elgort in the film. 🤣 |

With a bit more thinking I really do want it to be Van Hove's production and could easily see it being the Barbican's summer show next year.

I got it wrong. Muddled up my jets n sharks. I’m always doing that. |

Could it be the Lonny Price production that’s about to play the Chatelet? Could be as that production is billed as having a world tour. Also, the previous Chatalet version did play at Sadlers Wells in 2013. |

I disagree he's very young looking and it's theatre not film I believe it would work plus you will not find a better voice for Tony anywhere. |

It would be nice to have a cast for once that are believable gang members.
I also don't see Rob as Tony at all, he may have a nice voice but I don't rate his acting.
