Thanks for posting. I am also very excited by this news. I wonder if Grayson is planning to play himself? The article says singing is his latest thing. If he's not in it, then who could play him?

You could ask that about any new musical that isn't based on a film or a back catalogue.

Just seen that Sooz Kempner's (currently in Withnail and I at the Birmingham Rep) website mentions she was involved in a workshop for this;
Thought I'd then look at Sara-Ella Ozbeck's website to see what else she's done and saw that it mentions a bit more information;
With the recent announcement of Foley stepping down from the Rep, I wonder if this means they'll now skip Birmingham and just open it at the Old Vic? Feels like it will need a regional premiere somewhere before going to London (but I'm hoping it will still stay at the Rep!).
