Saw this two handed play at Redbridge Drama Centre, a converted school. Enjoyed it a lot, it needs a little polishing but it is well worth seeing. Its the story of Morris Cohen, as an East End artful dodger type he is sent to reform school and then to Canada. He then does well and makes a fortune and how to handle himself. He also takes up with the Chinese Nationalists. The play is mainly Two Gun speaking and a little more from his cell mate would have balanced things more. Its a true story and a good evening out. It is on its way to the Edinburgh Fringe.
The Drama Centre is small, friendly and has a good bar and you can park nearby. They have some good shows.
