I don't get to the old board as often as I'd like, so I nearly missed all the new fun (hee hee). Just going to set my profile and avatar.

Incidentally, I didn't have a problem setting up here, as I have used another Proboards forum in the last few months. It's called "The Night of the Wild Wild West", and is quite colourful in layout.

So here you all are.

It's not possible to have any special signs in user actual user name here. However, your display name allows them. To change the display name, go to Profile -> Edit Profile -> Personal where you can find the display name field.

Your actual name (heypaulpaul in your case) will always stay the same, but the displayname can be changed.

However, I think it'd be helpful for us if you put you old user name in your "status", which can be found diretly in "Profile" - just like I did.

Not working for me anymore either. I guess it's down to the domain being changed from theatreuk.proboards.com to theatreboard.proboards.com.

Maybe wait a little longer?

Or does our admin have to re-initiate Tapatalk somewhere?

I only changed the url this afternoon so maybe it's a timing thing. If it doesn't sort itself out in the next day or so please let me know and I'll raise a ticket with Support.

Hello everyone, I've made it over here - thanks a lot to everyone who's worked hard to get us here. I didn't post on the old forum all that often but regularly enjoyed reading threads and it would have been a great shame if we'd lost all that.

Right, now off to unpack some boxes and try and find my way around here!

Just installed Tapatalk myself and all working fine. I'm not sure we can do much more to help DuchessConstance, it sounds like it's device related.

I just wish to really thank you all who organised this transition and managed to keep our community together. Unfortunately I wasn't able to help with anything, but I was completely blown away by the way everything was conducted; the efficiency, the democratic, and civil, discussion on how to best proceed, the great ideas, and that absolutely brilliant summary provided by John_Rebus. John, may a thousand fantastic productions of Newsies pop up in every capital of Europe. BurlyBearR, Matthew, and all those whom I'm not mentioning because I have a sclerotic mind, thanks for all your work in securing a new, safe home for us. I wish I could erect a statue for all of you at the very centre of the West End.
