How has this got to ubiquitous umbrella room video stage without a thread being formed, unless I missed one!?
New musical opening next month, Music & Lyrics by Theo Jamieson, Book by Elinor Cook directed by incoming RSC AD Tamara Harvey Based on books by Enid Blyton
Looks quite saccharine but I'd give it a chance

Call me cheesy, but I quite enjoyed that!

Not for me. Which is fine.
For a piece like this, I would be looking for a sound world that evoked an earlier era. A nostalgic feel.
Perhaps there are hints of Honk but it sounds a bit generic.
Other songs might be better, of course

I wish it well, but I don't think this is the production for me. Puppets and adults playing kids are my two theatrical betes noires.

With you there, TallPaul, but I'm not keen on children per se, nor the (imo) horrible sound of children singing and listening to an early sample of this put the seal of disapproval on it for me.

I had a ticket but didn’t go in the end. It didn’t really look my cup of tea when the promo stuff started being released, then I caught a cold so decided to sack it off.
Has anyone actually seen it?
