Hi, My girlfriend and I bought tickets to the play on Sunday 4th February more than a year ago. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances we can no longer attend the performance on that day. We would still really want to see the play and we’re wondering if there were some people out there interested in swapping the tickets for another date. Many thanks to all in advance for your help! M tickets cannot be swapped or used by somebody else (officially speaking anyway), but if you contact your point of sale, ATG or Nimax, you'll be able to get a full refund, minus a few quid fee. |

Could they not be legitimately passed on to another person under the "my tickets have been purchased for someone else. Can I claim the tickets without providing a credit or debit card?" clause on the official website? I get it would be very much down to individual risk if you were willing to trade tickets with someone in this way but passing your tickets on to someone else seems to be catered for in a way it's not for, say, Hamilton. www.harrypottertheplay.com/uk/questions/ |

cedriko, in 20 May will be last show with current cast. At this moment Annabel Baldwin play Delphi but in June You will have totally new one probably
Next month they should say member of new cast on May2018- May 2019

I didn't see Esther Smith, but I thought Annabel Baldwin was really good as Delphi. However, she probably won't be there come June, especially as this is her second year in the company, and she'll probably want to move onto other projects.

Was at the performance tonight which waa cancelled because of the soho power cut.
SOOOO frustrating. Hope they can exchange tics for VERY soon. i dont want to wait too long

That or a refund I can maybe make it but annoyed i have to waste a holiday day to go because they have no weekend tics |

I understand the new cast coming in soon in town will be using updated scripts, containing changes that have been put in the Broadway run. Nothing major, but it will be interesting to see what they felt wasn’t quite right.

I've just watched HP and the Cursed Child on Broadway, and having watched it a handful of times in London with the original cast and the current London cast, it was interesting to note the little tweaks between London and Broadway.
Not sure if what I'm about to say constitutes as spoilers since I'm kind of spoiling the changes between London and Broadway, but in case anyone is concerned, this is the SPOILER WARNING if you plan on watching it on Broadway.
The play itself is executed mostly the same as its original London counterpart, but a few fun/interesting changes I noticed included the following:
The St Oswald's Home for Old Witches and Wizards sequence included some physical antics by the residents that aren't in the London production.
The young male attendant dealing with the residents in the Broadway version puts up more of a fight than the London version. The London attendant gets picked on by the residents, whereas the Broadway one is actively trying to get the better of them in his interactions.
The elderly black woman on the couch laughing as she pulls out fabric from her throat in the London version is replaced with an elderly woman embedded in the couch with her legs in disarray before saying the 'miserable old sod' line regarding Amos Diggory.
Scorpius and Hermione's line in St Jerome's church as the principal cast discuss theories about Delphi and Voldemort:
'You're not wrong.' (London)
'You're right.' (Broadway)
Not 100% sure on this, but I feel that Scorpius' lines about the fallacy of fulfilling and breaking prophecies when trying to reason with Delphi were cut in Broadway.
That's what I can remember from the top of my head, but it's still previews for the Cursed Child on Broadway, so I don't know if those changes are staying or going before the official opening night on April 22. I would tend to think they would stay if those are the changes they found necessary across the pond.
I agree with the comment above about it being the perfect opportunity to release a Broadway version of the script for changes.
I wish I could remember more specifics on the St Oswald's scene because I find movement/choreography to play a big part in this play and it's personally something I pay attention to when I watch live performances in general.
The refurbished Lyric Theatre is splendid. I wish I had more time in New York to watch it again to catch more changes, but alas, not everyone can own a Time Turner that gleams like gold just the way the Malfoys like it.

So... Because I will see them in 27 days (and counting, so excited indeed!) Anyone has seeing the thrid year cast? How were they? Albus? Scorpius? Harry? Ginny? And who plays Delphi? (I actually read the script and is one of my new favorite characters, sociophats had always a partcular interest to me, and yes, I know that this villian could be much better and her presense in the play is questionable for many, but, to be honest, I found her very appealing in some ways, particulary because of her parallelism with Harry and the inteligence that she has for making all this complicated plan; know that´s a very unpopular opinion, I beg you, be kind and don´t kill me with an Adeva Kedabra XD) Anyway: The new actress was any good or she is as lackauster as the other performers that played the role? (Never saw them of course but what I read in this forum and other´s sites is that the aactress were, unconvincing and panto in general...and I could imagine what this word means, but, to be absolutley sure: What does mean when you guys said: Her acting was very panto. Or: She is very panto? It has something to do with, to cartoonysh or with a Disney´s villian prototipe? (remember that I´m from Mexico, and there some things that I don´t get yet) Thank you! I’m at Cursed Child today and they have definitely made some changes with the new cast. The main thing I remember is the terrible projection of an owl has now been replaced by a puppet. Don’t know the script well enough to comment on individual lines but it feels like a few lines have been changed or tweaked.

The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced they will cut the whole 1st act of the time turner saga - when they first go back in time, it results in Ron and Hermione not getting married. Instead they could just interfere with time the once and end act one with Voldemort Day. I’m sure I saw someone on Twitter speculate that they would be cutting a lot of the flashback/past scenes and focus more on the Albus/Scorpius story. |

I saw the plays in London and thought they could have been done as a single performance since I remember Part II kind of dragged. (Although a second interval might have been warranted if the total time ended up being close to 4 hours. And they'd have to start at an awkward time unless they did matinees only.) |

I saw the video of the Oliver Award´s: The tall african american gentleman with the bombin hat is the Sorting hat? The Dementor´s are similar to the one´s in the movies? And finally, do you think that is better to buy suvennirs IN THE THEATER or in the stores that are around the building (I saw some vlog-videos that show that they sell the same suvenirs as in the theater but obviosly I´m not quite sure) I just can´t wait to know. So excited! Thank you in advance guys!
