Saw this yesterday evening (14.5.22) at the lovely Alhambra Theatre, Bradford. Great to be back in a sold out theatre again, the production was incredible, so slick and colourful, and the impressive cast performed as if it was their very first performance. A superbly well behaved and responsive audience, of all ages, gave a well deserved standing ovation.

Saw this last night in Edinburgh and just loved it.
However, I was in a top price seat and the sound was quite awful. So quiet, and I could barely make out the dialogue. However, it actually didn’t detract as it was such a spectacle.
Something I didn’t appreciate was how tiny the band is?! For such a HUGE score, I had expected more.
Don’t get me wrong, the musicians are exceptional. But the amount of money this tour is making, you’d hope for more; and for better sound…
