An enthralling, stunning, two-and-a-half hours at the Coronet Theatre in Notting Hill. The dramatisation of the Beckett novel is a tour-de-force. But this is not easy territory.

I admired parts of this but ultimately while it is an impressive tour de force of acting, I was not moved emotionally and so much shoots by (I realise this is the intended effect) that it didn't really linger. An interesting experience, though, and the Coronet really is lovely.
