Hi, new to this forum ! I'm gonna see the plays next Sunday (13:00 and 18:30). I need to collect my ticket from Box Office that day. Is the queue for collecting the tickets usually long ? Do you think it'll be fine if I show up at 11:30 approx. ? That's plenty early enough! We didn't get there until about 12:15pm. Queue for tickets was non existent and we got through security in 5/10 minutes too. Enjoy!

Presumably the returns queue only deals with people who want tickets to both parts at once - I walked past the Palace between the shows today and there was no queue at all. Wonder what they do if people only want to see one part? Or only return a ticket for one part, for that matter!

Saw the play today and it truly blew me away. All the pieces of the show come together so perfectly and I particularly loved the music by Imogen Heap. Didn't stop to get any merchandise though did pick up a programme and the beautiful souvenir brochure. It's a nice idea that they save the souvenir brochures until the very end of part two for sale. It does appear that they are no longer giving out the #keepthesecrets badges which is a shame.

Piece about secondary selling market and HP www.theguardian.com/stage/2016/aug/13/harry-potter-cursed-child-ticket-resale-prices(I genuinely have every faith that the producers WONT be doing this however) What it doesn't mention, specifically in the pop and rock world, is that artists/managers put their own tickets on these sites to get more money. Why make £140 when you could make £8,000?! Also, if u look under this article there is one with JK saying it will go to Broadway and to lots of other countries when they get a moment

Managed to get two row E circle tickets for in six weeks! Very happy with that after spending near enough 12 hours in the queue for them when they bulk released the other week. Wasn't even that difficult getting them in my basket and bought.

Went to cancellation line, again, today. Around 30 minutes before the show started, they were selling us what I believe to be unused "house seats," E15-12. If anyone wants a premium view, you might want to hold out until this time to see if you will be offered one. Marvelous view, and you get to see some very touching tributes that you won't be able to see if seated far back.

Thanks for that tip! How many people were in the line 30 minutes before the show?

Thanks for that tip! How many people were in the line 30 minutes before the show? I was the 13th when I joined the line at around 7:30. Nobody came after me until 8:30. Also passed five or six more tickets since I'd already seen it from a decent seat and wanted something better. The line dwindled to around 20 people when I got my ticket.

I am in E17 when I finally see the plays (booked in October last year) on my trip to London in November

I'm seeing this at the end of Sept but haven't received tickets yet? How early have others received theirs? Booked them last October!

Hi! Did anyone get lucky in the Friday Forty this week? Has anyone (on the board), ever been successful on Friday 40?

Right at the start people were having success, I think that's before a lot of people were aware exactly what the Friday 40 is. In the early days my wizard often walked a few sections which to me implied there were less people trying, but for the last month or so it's not walked anywhere at all.

Me too and yet every week I think I will get lucky, the disappointment is crushing.

I won right near the start...enabled 2 daughters to go....and 2 weeks ago we had a wizard who quickly walked about half way....and then stopped! I reckon if your wizard does not budge at the start you have no chance. No good just standing there with your cloak billowing artistically.....get a move on!

Can't I invest in an invisibility cloak and jump the Friday Forty queue to get tickets, and that way nobody will know.

Tried the Friday Forty a bunch of times before the last booking period went on sale and got nowhere. I somehow (still not quite sure how) managed to get a ticket the day after the second period went on sale and sold out. I'd queued all day and failed to get through twice. First time, got to the front and the system crashed when I picked a performance, sending me all the way to the back of the queue (with about 120,000 in front of me). Then someone politely gave me their place which was about 2,000th in line - got to the front and the system rejected my queue number, which I was expecting to happen cause I'd pretty much jumped the queue (naughty me, right?). Stayed in queue until 1 in the morning when the sold out notice went up; pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I'd never see the show and went to bed.
Woke up the next morning, and realized that I'd bookmarked the booking page from before the new period had gone on sale when pretty much all dates had sold out and I was just going on there in case I could score some returns. Click on it and it takes me straight through to the booking page ... with the new performances (May-December '17) on the calendar. Nearly all performances were limited to good availability (the sold out shows weren't displayed). Going to the 'ticket information' page, it still said 'sold out' so I'd somehow managed to stumble in through a back door that they hadn't closed yet. I hope that doesn't count as hacking or else I'm in trouble.
I chose a performance and attempted to put tickets in my basket when I was greeted with an error: unable to offer seats. Log into my Nimax account, add the tickets again, get the same thing. Go to my basket and the tickets are in there! I go through the payment process and before I know it, I have tickets. Was waiting anxiously for Nimax to e-mail me saying that there'd been a computer glitch and the tickets were already gone. But nope; money's gone out of my account and as of right now, I'm all booked! Making a holiday out of it for next year and spending the weekend in London.
Does anyone have the faintest clue what the hell happened that caused me to get tickets that way? What I do know is that Nimax were lying when they said tickets were all gone.
