Have any of you tried or plan to try the stage door? From pictures I've seen on Twitter it looks MENTAL. I'm assuming the actors are only doing it after the evening shows and not after the matinees? I went there on 16th and 17th and it didn't feel mental, at least not as mental as I've seen for things with big-name stars in them. The crowd was friendly and quite polite, and there wasn't some terrible urgency - I was sitting at the balcony, so it was quite a way down, but when I got to the stage door, there wasn't a crowd yet. After part 1 we only got the young cast there. Sam Clemmett and Anthony Boyle were both absolutely charming. After part 2 the crowd was indeed bigger and all the leads signed stuff and did selfies. Thanks! It doesn't sound as horrible as I thought, I'll give it a try. How long after the show did the cast come out the stage door? |

After part 2 I have the first photo from 22:25. I think it was about the same time for part 1. But then we stayed there after the boys left and got to meet Cherrelle Skeete who plays Rose. |

Good to know! Thanks amybenson! I noticed that they updated the plays' running time. Was surprised to see that they actually made them LONGER. I thought that, if anything, they would shorten them during the preview process. The difference is only little though, they now say that Part One is 2h50m (10 mins longer) and Part Two is 2h40m (5 mins longer). Those of you who have seen it twice, or those of you who read the spoiler thread, have there been any noticeable changes from the first Preview Performance? Just curious, since everyone said the play looked quite polished; no need for spoilers!  |

Would be awesome to know what you think of the rear stalls seats, I'm sat in R22 in two weeks and wondered how the view is? Especially with circle overhang. I sat in the second row of the circle last week and the view was brilliant. |

So my seats were on the back row (Row V) at the end of the row.
My view of the stage was clear, the circle overhang does affect a few things but not in a way it'll ruin your experience. I was lucky I was at the end of the row as I could stretch a leg out but the legroom isn't fantastic, my partner found it tight and she's 5ft 3! I think at £45 it was prices about right, no idea what it goes up to after previews.
Part 1 was amazing never felt a buzz in a theatre like it before and after. Can't wait for Part 2 tonight.

Seating wise for Part 2 I still have the same feelings about being at the back as I did in Part 1.

I've done the necessary reading on TheatreMonkey.com, but could someone please reassure me as to the quality of row N in the stalls? Just off centre? I don't usually spend this much on theatre tickets, so I'm really nervous about what the view's going to be like. I'm an average height lady if that helps.

Managed to score two tickets in the Friday Forty today! I couldn't believe it when I actually made it through to the ordering page. I first tried to get Saturday tickets but they seemed to be sold out by the time I got there, so I tried Wednesday and managed to get two tickets, stalls row G for both parts. I couldn't believe my luck and I'm so excited to actually be seeing the show!

I'm going in a few weeks and they haven't arrived yet two weeks before your visit is the time frame they give, mine for the 10th July arrived on the 30th June, a week and a half before. You're suppose to give them a call if they haven't arrived two weeks before. |

I don't usually spend this much on theatre tickets, so I'm really nervous about what the view's going to be like. I'm an average height lady if that helps. I was in row M seats 23-24 and it was a brilliant view! Nothing obstructed. Couldn't really fault them. |

I laughed, cried & gasped in both shock & awe. It was amazing! So glad I saw both parts in one day I wouldn't have been able to bear the suspense any longer.

So I'm seeing this on Thursday and Friday, and from what little I've heard/read so far, it sounds more like an endurance test than an enjoyable night at the theatre...
I bought online back when booking first opened. The email said I can only pick up my tickets on the day of the show. Anyone know if they've eased this edict since? It would be much easier for me to collect both tickets on the Thursday.
And presumably I can collect any time during the day, I won't have to join the massive queue in the evening? (I want to avoid that as much as possible, because unfortunately I tend to keel over if I have to stand for longer than 20 minutes at a time.)

I went to the box office a few weeks ago to ask when tickets could be picked up...they said tickets can only be collected no more than 2 weeks before.
