Granted I saw it in previews so it might have changed a little since then but my camera roll tells me I was back out on Shaftesbury Ave at 10:10 PM.

Caught the show again today, this time from the second row of the stalls and what a treat to be so close. The show still sparkles and everyone is clearly so happy and excited to be performing, will also echo a previous comment that Bern's Losing My Mind was really something, at one point she seemed to choke up a little and turned her back to the audience before returning to us and dabbing her teary eyes. I can imagine for her in particular doing this run will have some ups and downs for her being so close to Sondheim. Bonnie is still getting the biggest whoops and cheers after I'm Still Here and it's so deserved. Personally, I still don't really like the West Side Story section (though not a fan of the show anyway) but everyone else liked it! Everyones settled in, everyone's vocals were great, for a Wednesday matinee it looked rather full and all levels were open. The West Side story section is FINE. But far from being a highlight at all. Even Lea singing Somewhere leaves me cold. I don’t know why she was given it instead of Beatrice Touré. Her voice sounds thin, it’s obvious she’s not a legit soprano. RE Bonnie, I remember one night after I’m Still Here a man in the front row SHOT UP in applause. It was very sweet even Bonnie looked him dead in the eyes and was touched as he was the only one (everyone else was still losing their heads, just sat).

Anyone know if they’re checking the under 30s tickets? As they’re not checking the key worker sunset tickets..

She has the best voice on that stage by a mile.

But she sounds flawless everywhere else.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned earlier in the thread, but do Bernadette and Lea do all of the shows? I’m a latecomer to this particular show and I’m thinking of buying a ticket, but it would have to be a Saturday matinee. Barring illness, are they both scheduled to perform on Saturday afternoons? Thanks for any information.

Can you easily rush this? Or does the rush sell out?

Will this production be eligible for the Oliviers? Don’t know where they’d put it but they used to have a category called best musical production which was normally reserved for revivals but often included cabarets, one person shows etc. Salonga and Peters deserve nominations for their contributions.

Hard to say! Elaine Stritch and Barbara Cook got nominations for their one-woman shows and Angela Richards got a nod for Side by Side by Sondheim, which was also a revue. But that was 40 years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if Bernadette got a nomination, even just for being Broadway aristocracy and missing only the Olivier from her theatre accolades.

I would think it's easily going to win the Entertainment and Family category at the Oliviers no?
It's going to be a tough year for performances, so I'd be surprised if we saw any in there from this (but I'd be delighted if Bernadette was)

Just want to add on that this is a lovely experience. Went way back on the 9th of October and sat in the dress circle extreme sides and the view was AMAZING. Even then, Bernadette broke down during one of her numbers, and was in excellent voice. Everyone was a master of their craft. The youngsters were the least interesting parts, but the stars need a break sometimes! Man, what a spoil of riches, though.

Ugh the show was 10/10 again tonight. People sobbing during Losing My Mind (Bernadette included). Jason Pennycooke’s Buddy’s Blues is growing on me with each performance. I went from hating it to it making me laugh out loud. The audience really get behind it too. The cast seemed very emotional too today. During Being Alive until the finale Christine was crying. She did post about her (deceased) father on instagram today so maybe she was able to really connect. Bonnie, Bernadette, Lea and C were either in tears or at least red eyed.
Bonnie’s I’m Still Here I would say is the crowd favourite. Gets the biggest reaction.
But Janie Dee needs more praise. Her ‘Boy From…’ has been received with hysterical laughter from start to finish every night I’ve attended. She’s a wonderful actress.

I know TodayTix have quite a lot of seats available but more recently they seem to be offering further back seats even though they still have a lot of tickets to sell. Has anyone gone directly to the box office to ask for dayseats or similar? Just wondering to try my luck or not.

They are so nice and always say yes (since there are empty seats).

Are they still selling the signed posters or was this a one off?

Are they still selling the signed posters or was this a one off? The two Friday night shows I went to Bonnie did a speech and talked about the posters. I don’t know if this was a coincidence or they announce them every Friday?

My understanding is that there were being sold at the theatre only, for one weekend.
I have seen nothing on Twitter about it. If there were I'd be buying another.

I got two tickets in row C of the Dress yesterday in TodayTix rush and was also offered Row O of the stalls but I had to keep loading it quite a few times.
