Crikey… just took a look at the Prince Edward screening on DMT’s site - soooo many seats available, I’d be surprised if it’s more than 1/3 sold, and most of those are at the back of the upper circle. Sadly it’s not surprising, for all the reasons previously mentioned 😞

Just been emailed and told my tickets for the screening have been upgraded (only got the £30 ones which I thought was steep for a glorified cinema!), and either the Grand Circle is now sold out or they’ve closed it and moved us all downstairs…

I thunk its a case of closing upstairs and moving People down.

And Maria Friedman, as she was initially listed as Co director rather than performing. Now I might be reading too much into the video but Michael Ball is with Maria Friedman and she is wearing an apron which means "a little priest' but is she just standing in for Imelda Staunton for rehearsal as I can't see her there or will Maria and Michael do that number and Imelda will do something from Follies. Also Rob Brydon is wearing an apron and I'm guessing "Everybody ought to have a maid" as its a great comedy number. Oh I'm loving guessing who will do what and will probably be wrong each time.

I think Bernadette is here. She has just put a picture on Instagram of a view from a window and it looks awfully like London.
I think I'm going to be on Prozak by Tuesday evening!

Hi everyone! I was wondering of there's a spare Sondheim Gala ticket going around? They're like gold dust at the moment, but please let me know if you hear of anything as I'd love to go!

Anna Jane Casey just tweeted "Heading into rehearsals for #OldFriends to join @officialbpeters and @bonnie_langford as we bump, grind, shimmy and flash. My stagy 10yr old self is exploding inside right now…🤪😜". So we know who's doing "you gotta get a gimmick"!

Yes brilliant casting in this. Remember it from Hey Mr Producer! I was there that night and will be there in Tuesday. How good is that! But let's not forget this version.

I suspect that Sondheim would have hated that Savage/Black/Windsor version of it. It’s so cheap and obvious. It totally diminishes the original scene from the show.
As much as I think Cilla was great as a young singer, she was popular but hideous as a tv “personality” and that performance of Gimmick where she pranced about with her legs out was embarrassing in my opinion.
