A new play announced here if anyone is interested in seeing Theresa May represented on stage. riversidestudios.co.uk/see-and-do/bloody-difficult-women-8212/Personally I can't see much point in dramatising very recent history like this. Also I've no idea why they think this play will be in the slightest bit controversial, the entire audience will be Gina Miller supporters. I also note that although the play focusses on two women the author and director are both men.

I'd probably go if the tickets were £20, but not for £35.

I'd probably go if the tickets were £20, but not for £35. If you wait long enough they might be. Relative to other theatres the Riverside Studios are awash with cash as they had TV productions in there throughout lockdown, so far since reopening their theatre programme has been very limited and small-scale, I think they could be more ambitious - but anyway good to see them back on the scene.

That's interesting - I've been assuming all theatres are struggling. For Happy Days there last summer I paid £17.50, but maybe they expected audiences to be reluctant to return. I will look out for discounts for the new show.
