I happen to have a bit of info about who is playing the lead in this production and can confirm their name has not yet been mentioned. He is relatively new to the industry but was recently found in a revival production. More clues please! 🙂 |

'Doesn't bode well' is an understatement. Edited: To change 'chorus' to 'ensemble' because otherwise, no there couldn't. |

Looking through the Legally Blonde cast list I can't see it being anyone other than Michael Ahomka-Lindsay based on those hints surely? He was the only one who stood out to me in that production and is fairly new to the industry. I'd love to see him lead something new but this would surprise me as a fit.
Outside bet could be Alistair Toovey but I'm not sure if he qualifies as new and also plays a little older to me.
Liam McEvoy another 'fresh face' but surely not discovered while in a dog suit.

However how many times has a board member sworn that they know who is playing a role and turns out to be completely wrong. So I'm just going to wait and see.
I also think that casting agents and directors are missing a trick. They should join the forum and see who we think should perform certain roles. We always know best 😀

I also think that this needs a moderately known name in the lead to entice people to trek out to Wembley.

Is it just me but is this the score to this (and Sister Act) consistently weak throughout? The odd good song but a lot of padding I love the score to both this and SISTER ACT. I think that they are both incredibly strong scores (although some of the changes made to SISTER ACT are detrimental in my opinion. 'How I Got The Calling' is a much better song that what has replaced it, and the song for the Mother Superior ['Haven't Got A Prayer'?] is unnecessary). I love Alan Menken's work generally though. Each to their own I guess. |

Any of the names mentioned so far (except Jac) would be a disappointment for me, unfortunately. I hope it isn't somebody from that godawful Legally Blonde - I looked at the cast trying to see someone who would fit, and there was literally nobody. A couple might have been okay 5-10 years ago.

Once the fans have seen it, and I'm sure we have all booked for the £30 previews, then you need at least one or two names that people have heard of to get them to part with their cash (and its not cheap after previews) to come all the way out to Wembley.
