Has anyone managed to get more than 25 points under the new system? I posted one with a ticket photo to see if that was the issue after my 150 point photo only got 25. This one should have got 50 points, but again got 25. I can't see anything else I could have added. They haven't replied to my email asking about it, so I'm assuming there must be a lot of smallprint that effectively makes most seat reviews now worth 25 points whatever you do. Yes have managed to get more than the base 25 points where applicable including a 150 point review. Is it because you're not able to select the show?

A new, and I think unannounced, changed. To get more than 25 points is now a photo, picture of your ticket and a comment on the seat.

I've given up doing Seatplan reviews. It feels like they are deliberately making it difficult to collect points now, and it's sometimes difficult to crop personal data out of ticket screenshots

Appears that they are now giving reward points for tickets booked via them.

Only 2%? Meh… I stopped uploading on there since they reduced the vouchers down and made earning points more difficult. I find that tickets on Seatplan are always an extra few quid too compared to elsewhere.

Has the ability to get a Seatplan reward card for London/UK vanished for anyone else? I'm now left with the only option being £20 worth of Theatre tokens for 2400 points whereas £10 Seatplan use to be 800 points (down to 600 when they did a special offer). Ta!

Yes I also noticed it had disappeared, though I’m assuming (ie. hoping!) it’s only temporary. The option for Theatre Tokens sporadically disappears too but I suppose they’re separate to SeatPlan so I can sort of understand why. Definitely more unusual for SeatPlan’s own voucher option to disappear.

Had a nightmare trying to book something tonight, kept getting invalid messages before I even attempted to enter any details (wanted to combine with a voucher). Ended up just booking direct with the venue.

Hi All - I love seatplan and frequently use it to make decisions about where to sit. Quick question - does anybody know why it doesn't incoude seat photos of the Old Vic? Is there some kind of arrangement whereby they are only allowed to use written reviews without photos?

I believe it's because the Old Vic layout can be reconfigured differently for each production, so any photo wouldn't necessarily be an accurate reflection of the view, though that doesn't fully explain why written reviews are accepted.

Plus the Old Vic are (or were) super-restrictive about photos being taken - perhaps that also extends to not allowing Seatplan to use images? Just a thought.

I think this may be it, because Wembley Park was greatly reconfigured for Newsies and then again for Starlight (and Seatplan adapted to this), so I believe it would be restrictions from - or a deal with - Old Vic

From the OV website: "we do permit photographs before the lights go down so long as no element of our stage and scenery is included. Please respect our copyright." Perhaps the OV lawyers have been in touch with Seatplan.

Perhaps the OV lawyers have been in touch with Seatplan. I was going to post they have changed their stance recently, but looking up diaries, I realise I was last there for Mood Music back in 2017 - covid Llckdowns seem to have played havoc with me being able to place events in a timeline!
Back then the Old Vic ushers would jump on anyone with a phone or camera trying to take any kind of image in the theatre.
