Given that this is a repost from the Sun I'd take it with a pinch of salt. Has ALW mentioned a new show? Thought he'd have his work cut out with Cinderella and the possible Broadway transfer?

I mean 'baker-turned-dancer' has Cinderella all over it. Fits some of the previous promo they did, so maybe a big old rehash is in the works with more household names attached.

I would think he would be more interested in increasing his baking opportunities, books, tv shows etc then being a bit-part in Cinderella.

The article mentions lead role in a new musical so I can't see it being Cinderella...unless ALW is planning on taking it in a totally different direction

Surely only a revival could be ready for this summer. Considering how long he takes to write a show (naturally) there isn’t going to be a new one in a few months.
But this “The Sun”, so probably not even worth wondering.

He's replacing Carrie Hope Fletcher provided they get rid of the hideous costumes with Johannes stepping up as the Prince provided he can do his own choreography, and Tess Daly is writing some new jokes for good measure.

It need not be a new ALW score. It might be something like the Wizard of Oz revival that he produced, adding a couple of numbers along the way.
Or he is reworking Joseph from the perspective of the Baker....
