if the rumours are true thatās fantastic that more audiences will be able to experience this!
i actually travelled to cheltenham to see the final matinee- like others have said, genuinely funny moments, catchy music, and while the story isnāt the most radical itās a fun, heartwarming show- and I hope the cast stay the same!
JOJ of course was fantastic (he dances a bit) and everyone in the cast was wonderful and worked really well together

Would be really tempted to see this if it is the same cast as in Cheltenham.

I have never watched the programme.[ Being married to a retired chef I find the idea rather boring.] However I'm tempted - just to see John Owen-Jones.

I too saw this in Cheltenham, can't think why I didn't post about it. I loved it, it's camp and frothy and doesn't take itself too seriously, but it's done with such energy and panache I ended up loving it. Off to see it again in the West End, I think.

Great news, I'll hopefully be there on opening (preview) night. Absolutely loved this at Cheltenham. Disappointing if Rosemary Ashe isn't continuing though - she and John-Owen-Jones were sublime together. I think it will do well. Ticks every box with a credible and heartwarming storyline, likeable if flawed characters, plenty of laughs and strong musical numbers including a definite earworm among them...
Just want What's New Pussycat and Into The Woods to announce London transfers now.
Marketing opportunity to offer a selection of cakes pre-show and interval as Waitress did in London with pies ?

So opening night is Saturday 25 February, most stalls seats priced Ā£80. Pricing exactly the same for Sunday 26 February.
However on Monday 27 February, which I've just booked, the Ā£80 price drops to Ā£50. That continues across the run. Weekdays Ā£50, weekends Ā£80. Am I right in thinking that's a much greater differential than usual ?

Im definately going to see this as it sounds like great fun. Also Damian Humbley is in it and I love his voice. We need to see more of him in the west end.

I remember Damian from The Woman in White - didnāt realise he was still in the biz! He did Merrily at the Menier and then the West End, and Songs For A New World at St James's Theatre. Also Forbidden Broadway. I'm sure there is more.

John Owen-Jones is enough to make me buy a ticket but with Damian Humbley thatās a double whammy. I missed it when it was on at. Helge ham so Iām pleased about this. Tickets already booked I find it very strange seeing John outside of a non-Phantom/LM setting, as he is so much associated with those shows and played thousands of performances in them. Whether it was that weird play he was in with all the sex, or hosting WEL, or now this, itās just weird to see him break away from those two roles.

He's a solid professional performer who can play hundreds of different roles. He's just another actor singer like the many many others no? I look forward to seeing the show! I heard great things on its previous run.
