Yes. Anyone seen a full list yet of the artists involved? When I booked I assumed there would be a large bunch of people involved, but from what I've heard so far, it seems like just a few 'names'. Which will be very nice, of course, but I suppose I was hoping to hear some of the lesser-known winners. But I may well have missed some big announcement somewhere along the line!

Very jealous of the ticket holders...! Would love to have attended but why are these things always on midweek evenings? Hope it's filmed so we can catch it at a later date.

Yes, I'm going. Hoping the line-up includes more than what has been announced.

I have a spare ticket for tonight if anyone is interested. Side stalls.
The bad news is that I am still going and you will be sitting next to me...

I'm going too, got a ticket back in October when David Thaxton was on the list, but it's been ages since I've seen EP & Michael Ball, so looking forward to it.

That was very good indeed. Some special moments, a fabulous choir and a Botoxed Elaine Paige. More later ...

Maria Friedman's Losing My Mind was amazing Michael Ball and Daniel Evans were great. Elaine Paige should have sung something else. But what a great night.

Maria was incredible but I knew she would be. Michael Ball always is and I always like watching Daniel Evans. The mix of shows made the jukebox musicals look like poor relations though.

So good, I almost leaped out of my chair when Clive Rowe started singing Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat. Loved his version since I saw it the NT 50th Anniversary.
Plus Paige in a gold dress. What more could a girl want for £12! What a well put together show. I could have stayed for hours more!

Maria Friedman was worth the ticket price alone, what can I say, the woman still has it! EP on the otherhand.....

Personal highlight was Clive Rowe, but thought the whole thing was really well put together. Sound in the hall (where I was anyway) wasn't great at the start, better in the second half. Interested to hear how it comes across on the broadcast. A tad Sondheim heavy for me (ducks), but there some great individual performances and a really fabulous choir.

The sound was awful until the first Sondheim piece (six rows from the front).

Clive Rowe & Maria Friedman were so worth the ticket price. EP did a bad impression of Dame Shirley and there was a little part of me that was waiting for her to burst into Goldfinger or burst out of her dress. I think the musical director wondered what was going on with all her laboured delivery of the song. Speaking of the MD, he looked in pain with that funny odd bow of his.

Oh yes I have to agree about the sound, I was in F too and thought it dire at times. Wonder what it was like on the radio

Yes, that bow was quite extraordinary! Another highlight - John Dalgleish and Katie Brayben's 'Me and My Girl'.
