Tickets on sale, there are some black Friday/cyber Monday offers. Some mailing list subscribers (my partner got one, I did not) got an email today with a promo linked to their account, buy a ticket for Jan 24 through Feb 20, two tickets for the price of one and no booking fee.
PWC previews on sale on Monday 13 December at noon.

The 2 for 1 offer I received didn't work for me, so didn't buy tix.
Wonder if there's something wrong with the website or because I'm already an OV Local member.

Wasn’t this on at the Bridge recently? Or am I very confused?

I saw it and liked it at The Bridge - by Caryl Churchill. A 60-minute two-hander with Roger Allam and Colin Morgan. That was February 2020, after cycling furiously from the Nash where Billington had an event. I remember Simon RB and Pwnelope Wilton reading the Torcello scene from Betrayed.
Quite the evening for beguiling voices.

This gets a lot of revivals! I saw it at the Young Vic 4 or 5 years ago, then the Bridge. I think Samuel and Timothy West did it a few years back too. It's a good play, but not sure I'm ready for another version (although I might be tempted by a decent PWC preview ticket).

This gets a lot of revivals! I saw it at the Young Vic 4 or 5 years ago 2015 in a transfer from Southampton Nuffield. John & Lex Shrapnel. With the best set there's ever been, absolute genius.

I saw it last night. Very impressed, particularly with Paapa Essiedu who was very good switching between the three sons - the right level of pathos, menace, humour etc. Lennie James also gave a solid performance, but I found it hard not to hear the echo of Roger Allam or John Shrapnell saying those lines. I only went because it's hard to resist a Caryl Churchill for £10, but it was well worth it. I might even try to see it again. I liked the set design too. A word of warning to anyone with light sensitivity: between scenes they flash bright lights at the audience for a few seconds (edit: not flashing on and off, just one flash that lasts a few seconds).

Sounds promising. I'll be there next week.
Did you need to present a lateral flow test? My email with the tickets doesn't mention it, but I know they were asking for it for A Christmas Carol.

Yes, they asked for proof of negative LFT and checked it briefly on the way in. I think they sent an email a week or two beforehand.

We are going tomorrow, the be ready email says this:
I don't see how any reading of that can suggest a requirement to present a negative test but it would seem that is the case.

This is the wording I had in emails from the OV:
"Once you arrive at the theatre, everyone in your booking over the age of 12 must show either proof of a negative lateral flow test taken on the day of your visit or evidence of natural immunity via a positive PCR test from within the past 11–90 days of a positive result. Within The Old Vic, including in the auditorium, face coverings must be worn at all times unless you are exempt."
I think 1:05 was accurate for the running time.

I wonder if the OV have changed their covid rules in the last 24 hours, because I see the wording Dave B was sent is on their website.

The "When you visit us in person" section of the web site still only "recommends" a lateral flow test. Mind you it also still says
".....You’ll then be able to visit the bar and use the loo if needed. Our auditorium will be open for you to take your seat, enjoy a free mince pie or satsuma and get into the festive spirit as soon as you arrive at the theatre (within your allotted arrival time)."

Saw and enjoyed it this evening. No test or Covid pass required on arrival. A large number of masks being handed out to people at the door and a huge drop-off in mask usage compared to earlier in the week. Town much busier too. Asked to be there 18.30 to 18.50 - house didn't open until after 19.00... 1.05, done at about 20.38. Enjoyed it a lot. Really liked Paapa Essiedu who brought a very distinct feel to his characters. Felt a bit like Lennie James grew into the character as the hour went along, a slow burn but then hitting it very nicely towards the end. {Spoiler - click to view}In slight spoilers, I liked the body doubles - I thought that worked nicely but I could have done without the flashing lights surely added to lightly daze the audience and allow for the change. I also liked that the fifth scene had a new location and I thought the art gallery set was smart - the 'portraits' amused me. Easily worth a £10 PWC ticket and I have seen Old Vic tweeting about regularly having £15 tickets on the day during the week.

Oh Dave B, so glad to hear it's good, and thank you for the tickets info! I got a really cheap (£5) ticket for this last week, for a friend and me, front row... and then realised I won't be able to go. Heartbroken. But I definitely will try to catch it on a £15 ticket later in the run now. I loved the Morgan/Allam combination at the Bridge recently, and am really curious how this compares.

I’m tempted to see this - even though I saw the Bridge Theatre production - just checked and that was Feb 2020 (it seems a lot longer ago..).
It’s great that there are last minute cheap tickets, but again the Old Vic has vast number of stalls seats up to £90 mostly unsold for many performances. Why don’t they start at something more realistic? Or clearly, they still think these can sell (or start high and discount later), so I’ve probably answered my own question!

I managed to get a PWC £10 ticket for tonight in the stalls so worth keeping an eye out for returns.

I liked this and it’s a very well done, although in a way it did leave me wanting more. Not necessarily in terms of length, but scene four in particular I felt lost it’s way a bit before coming back around for a very different final scene. For £10 was well worth it though, and nice to see the Old Vic very full again.
