Told ya it would come back 😉
So yes, I heard it would be Wyndham's to begin with too, but as Noel Coward is literally next door, it wasn't so far off the mark anyway.
Casting unconfirmed as of yet, frustratingly. I know Syrus Lowe is coming back as James Baldwin (confirmed on his Twitter bio) but Justina Kehinde (Aretha Franklin) won't be as she is on a UK/Ireland tour with Girl From the North Country until March '23. Emilio Doorgasingh who played Vidal's partner Howard looks likely to come back too. Seemed to hint he was returning on socials but can't say for certain.
As for leads Harewood and Edwards, I'm uncertain but optimistic. Edwards is (or was) busy filming season 2 of the Amazon Lord of the Rings show, but has expressed keen interest in returning if BOE got transferred. No idea with Harewood, but he very much enjoyed his time back at the theatre after a long hiatus.
I think I said previously James Graham was very eager to keep the two leads at least for the transfer, so let's see...

Barring unforeseen circumstances, Charlie Edwards is coming back. One of the reasons they delayed the transfer till November was to accommodate his schedule.

The Noel Coward must be James Graham's favourite theatre as this is the third play of his to transfer there after Quiz and Labour of Love.

Thinking of getting a ticket for this when it goes on sale for the Noel Coward run - any idea whether things like the £10 front row seats some of you have mentioned will be available here too, or are those sort of prices just a Young Vic thing?
If not I might go for a slip seat somewhere but didn’t rate it much for comfort when I saw DEH from up there!

Why have they not just announced it's the Noel Coward? The preceding show, DEH, had already announced its closing date and Best of Enemies is on the DMT website as 'Coming Soon' and there's only one of their theatres free in November, so why the big mystery about venue? Their website had it originally as the Noel Coward and then it changed in line with the shows marketing to 'West End, November'.
Similarly, why didn't The Lehman Trilogy just announce it was going to the Gillian Lynne when it was first announced?

Tickets on sale this Monday. The email I got still doesn’t mention venue - is it definitely the Noel Coward? Guess we’ll know on Monday anyway!

Charles Edwards is not returning as Gore Vidal due to (presumably) a scheduling clash. Amazon's Rings of Power season 2 begins production in October. Rehearsals for the play start around the same time, ready for a November start.

He will be replaced by Zachary Quinto. An intriguing choice.
This will be Quinto's West End debut I believe?
(TimeOut leaked a promo picture of Quinto dressed as Gore with Harewood as Buckley Jr.)

I had just said to a friend the other day I probably wouldn’t see this again in the West End. Definitely more likely now with Quinto! He’s great.

Just confirmed on The Stage’s e-newsletter. Complete with promo shot of David and Zachary.
I’m trying to decide if I should book or not when it goes on sale later. Any thoughts from those who saw it previously? I was mostly wanting to see Charles Edwards really.
