Caught this tonight ... last minute thing glad I didn’t see the many 1* reviews before going
Very atmospheric creepy staging , good set and effects ... lighting good .... was difficult to hear clearly some of the cast . Who were extremely hardworking and talented ... and age old famous story I thought I knew .... wrong ! .... should have been titles loosely based on or reimagined ..... quite confusing at times and convoluted .... completely different ending to the book and movies
but still an enjoyable evening out with a few jump scares and some very handsome lead actors .... and wendi peters a great actress
It had all the makings of fab night ..... they need to simplify the story telling a little IMO and they many people tonight scratching their heads as the left. 2.5 / 5 from me
