I know the press release for the Heathers London run ending says Wimbledon is the final date of the tour but it’s actually Windsor isn’t it? Just checking I’m not going mad? Did the Windsor tour stop get cancelled? I can't seem to find it on Theatre Royal Windsor's website anymore.

Very much seems that it's been pulled as it's no longer on the Tour page of the Heathers Website and the original link for the TRW website theatreroyalwindsor.co.uk/heathers-oct-23/ is now just a page not found.

Pulled from Windsor by the look of it. They've even removed almost all evidence the tour was ever closing there from their social media.

Pulled from Windsor by the look of it. They've even removed almost all evidence the tour was ever closing there from their social media. Seems their last public mention of the final tour dates was at the start of august.
I've contacted TRW to see if there is any confirmation that the dates have been pulled, as had also looked at booking but only once it was likely that I wouldn't be affected by train strikes.

And an update to the previous post. The response from Theatre Royal Windsor is that it is longer finishing at Windsor and Wimbledon will be the final dates.

Sixth time seeing this show but first time that I’ve got to see the touring cast.
I enjoyed it, I love Heathers and its energetic, catchy score in any circumstance.
But, knowing this show so well, it did feel a little bit more flat in such a big venue as Wimbledon in contrast to The Other Palace.
Jenna Innes was wonderful. Vocally flawless and so controlled. What her Veronica lacked in emotion was made up for in assuredness. She inevitably stole the show.
Billie Bowman was also great as Heather Mac. I was less taken by Verity Thompson’s Heather C or Elise Zavou’s Duke, however.
The problem with casting for this taking place pretty much in tandem with the new London casting is that the Other Palace show clearly hoovered up the stronger talent at the time.
I loved Jacob Fowler’s JD in London but less so here, while the less said about some of the other performances (Shine a Light was… not great), the better.
However, I’m being hyper critical because of my own awareness of this show and my preferences to details such as how certain lines ought to be delivered.
It’s still great and a wonderful way to spend an evening. Five stars.
Unfortunately, due to transport issues in south west London last night, I missed the first 15 minutes. Many others did as well and people were still arriving by 8.20pm.
Even more unfortunately, this was not a vintage Heathers audience. I’ve never heard so much rustling of sweet packets and plastic water bottles - never an issue in my five trips to the Other Palace.
My experience of touring shows at regional theatre is that people (in this case, families) see it as an alternative to the cinema or bowling. I suppose it makes sense, who is seeing a show in Wimbledon that run in London for so long and only closed last months? Obsessives, like me, sure but mainly casual fans who aren’t that bothered.
I should add that the cast led a touching tribute to Bill Kenwright after the bows. Bravo.

I saw this yesterday from the Upper Circle (it was a late decision as I'm already going later in the week, so those seats were the only sensible ones financially).
I've never sat up there before (or seen Heathers from so far back). There are a lot of steps. As a plus, the gents is much roomier then the tiny one downstairs (and being Heathers, there weren't all that many men competing to use it).
The lower two levels were pretty full, but the Upper Circle was more sparsely populated (it is closed some nights), so I was able to sit in a nice central seat with a clear view. The downsides, leg room is terrible (a girl nearby was putting her legs over the seats in front), and there's a light that blocks the centre of the upper level of the set, so I think almost all of the Upper Circle is restricted view.
Positives, all very enjoyable, excellent touring cast, nice to see the whole stage, the cast managed to fill the large stage, the sound quality is excellent and perfectly balanced. Downsides, the lighting did not follow the action as well as I'd have expected, I couldn't see Steve, the atmosphere just doesn't compare to The Other Palace, no end of banging of doors and seats at the back.
I was questioning myself about whether Jacob was JD or not (partly due to the distance and my vision, plus I think he's been working on his body). He played JD so differently to when I've seen him before. Wonderful voice, but I felt he'd camped things up a bit too much. Still, he's up there with the best of the JDs.
Lovely tribute at the end and some gasps from audience members who had not heard the news about Bill Kenwright (along with many, I expect, who had no idea who he was). But the whole week of shows are dedicated to Bill's memory.
I'll be back on Thursday evening in the Stalls (although not at the very front - amazing really how much they're able to sell the tickets in Wimbledon for compared to at The Other Palace).

As if you can’t go & see ‘Heathers’ anywhere now?

Is Wimbledon ATG? They’re always more expensive. I think they were upselling it with snacks at the Liverpool Empire, but at Theatr Clwyd earlier this year I sat on the front row for a tenner.

I knew it wouldn't be my kind of misical so never went to see it in the West End. Tonight I was struggling to find anything to watch in TV and noticed it was on Amazon so thought I'd watch it. Got about 20 minutes in and turned off. I think what did it was the constant screaming from the audience.

Desperately hoping it's just being streamed somewhere more accessible for more people :') I'm not a fan of Heathers, but even for the people who are, I feel like they should allow some room for people to really miss is, and then bring it back. It hasn't been gone long enough. Apparently they also pay their actors' terribly too.

I’m thinking London rather than a tour, but it’s not clear from the teaser.

It's another tour from July.
Starting at Theatre Royal Windsor 24th-27th July.

With this opening in a Kenwright venue, and opening in just a few months, with no further venues announced today, this feels like it might be opportunistic rather than planned.

With this opening in a Kenwright venue (as we know, , and opening in just a few months, with no further venues announced today, this feels like it might be opportunistic rather than planned. Can you elaborate? Do you think they will figure out venues as they go along?

With this opening in a Kenwright venue, and opening in just a few months, with no further venues announced today, this feels like it might be opportunistic rather than planned. Can you elaborate? Do you think they will figure out venues as they go along? It is unusual, but not unheard-of, for a 'tour' to be announced this close to the starting venue. The fact that the first venue is managed by the producer just feels like Windsor might have had an empty week come up and that they will now plan a tour with other venues looking for filler slots. Otherwise, with it being so close, why not announce the full tour schedule in one go?
