That is luxury casting for a score that doesn't make huge vocal demands.
Will sound sumptuous no doubt. Just wish the book worked.

A Sunday? Nobody stages a concert on a Sunday anymore. Everyone is at the theatre!

LW Presale open, no queue but I struggled to get beyond seat selection for 10 minutes. Fourth time lucky and ended up with a third row stalls seat in the left side block, happy with that.
The centre front rows of the stalls were £100 + VIP seats but they went almost instantly. Nothing like the frenzy for Bonnie & Clyde though.

If anyone was at the 2018 concert of Camelot at the palladium can you remember the appropriate running time. With its 6pm start time it's harder to gauge when to book the train home. Best web search at present says it's about 2 hours ten which seems short but it does seem act two has few songs. Thanks for any further info. LW theatres have this marked as sold out now.

I'm sure I've seen mention of a ticket thread somewhere but I don't know where to find it (help BurlyBeaR ?). But I don't think I can make this any more so my ticket's up for grabs if anyone's looking for one (stalls E).

I always assume three hours then anything less is a blessing.

I always assume three hours then anything less is a blessing. Thanks, that was my original assumption which means I can't get a train home (to my closest station anyway). If anyone knew it was definitely short I wouldn't need to make other arrangements.

It is a long show if they were to do all the dialogue. I directed it years ago and it was Well over 2.5 hours.
There are a couple of alternate songs that might get included. And, of course, they could well truncate the dialogue or replace it with narration
Probably doesn't help in the slightest but it is a big show with a lot of score.

Hunting around on YouTube seem to find no complete recording but several part one or two parts and in general act one seems to run 1 hour 10 and act 2 on average an hour so with interval and that these types of shows always seem to run late I presume it will be at least 2 and a half hours. Now just need to see what London tube lines are up to next weekend and if the main railway changes timetables again due to staff shortage.

I’m only able to go because it finishes early, trains are horrendous. Having been to see 2 shows yesterday and getting home at 2am I’m glad I can get home by midnight tonight. Work will be a struggle tomorrow and I’m at the cinema……probably will be snoring

Seems you can’t buy a programme in the grand circle 😂 I probably wasn’t going to anyway but can anyone share the full cast list?

Better off saving your cash. Ten pound for bit more than a leaflet advertising the other concerts by the promoters. Only 8 listed as the cast and an ensemble Will list later if no one else takes and can post pic in mean time. Don't remember the stalls being this cramped seating

Perhaps a bit late but may calm some nerves: Act 1 6pm Interval 6:50pm Act 2 7:10pm Show ends 8pm
I'm guessing they will cut some dancing? I guess no need for time for scenery changes too.
