It really moved me to be honest, I was surprised at how much. I was in tears by the end, I found myself really caring about the characters even though they were supposed to be “villains”.
I really hope this has a further life, I don’t think I’ll be able to get back by July with everything else I want to see but I’d love to see it live again.

Wishing I’d spent (a lot less) money on this yesterday instead of Moulin Rouge.

How easy is it to grab Rush tickets? A couple of Saturdays ago I booked the matinee through officiallondontheatre only a few hours before the performance and got 3rd row stalls 4 seats in and paid like £30. I checked rush too and didn’t get a seat as good as that.

Today’s tix offer £25 tickets. We got a ticket in the circle for that which were selling on the main website for £45. It’s such a small theatre you can pretty much see everything from everywhere.

My third and final show of the weekend and wow was it a treat. Barney as Clyde was brilliant. Delighted I caught him. Vocally wonderful and genuinely scary at times. Both Francesca and Natalie are equally amazing. Dying ain’t so Bad was truly a masterclass in performing. The show has an amazing score and hearing those songs live is worth the ticket price alone. The set was very impressive for such a small venue too, very clever use of space. I sat front row and my neck was very sore by the end of the show from looking up but all the same I’m happy with the view. I’d recommend sitting further back though. I’d love for this show to have a longer life in London. It’s a real treat.

Just back from this. Excellent! Cover on for Bonnie but you’d never have known.
Very Hope Mill and I can so see this there!
But programmes £10?! I had to double check with the person behind me that they’d also paid that!
Having said that, I did buy a tote bag after for £16 - but it does have more depth to it than most tote bags!

We had the "B" team on evening of 25 June. Alternates/Understudies for Bonnie (Lauren Jones), Buck (Charlie McCullough) and Blanche (Anne Guy). But, all were excellent. Hard to believe the regular cast would be any better. That Jones and Guy could deliver You Love Who You Love with such harmony and emotion together is remarkable under the circumstances. We thought Jordan Gage was magnetic, charismatic and totally believable. He should be a star from now on. Lauren Jones was radiant and engaging and totally believable, even where the book doesn't provide enough motivation, her performance made her actions seem "right" for her. Guy was right up there with Gage and Jones - hard to say any was better than the other. Just really well performed. Any issues I have are with the show itself and not the performances - odd to say, but it seemed like there were almost too many songs! And not all of the songs advanced character/plot in a way that required a song.
Oh, and Pippa Winslow was awful as an actor.

The prop that fell on the audience member has been replaced by a far less elaborate till. Shame they couldn't just secure the original one better, but I guess they didn't want to risk it happening again.

I saw the Theatre Royal Drury Lane concert- LOTS of theatre lovies about- with Jeremy Jordan but I've not watched the show.
Does anyone this might gain a second life and transfer to another theatre?

Jordan seems to sort of hint towards a future life of the show in this video at West End Live. Tour perhaps? This has happened before at West End Live and sometimes nothing happens after, but I have my hopes up.

Saw this on Jubilee Friday and adored it. The thing that struck me most was how very well-acted the piece was which is not always the case in MT. Jordan and Frances excelled as the edgy, reckless, devil may care lead characters.Big shout out to the brilliant Nat McQueen as well. Audience were predominantly the younger age group with the odd fossil like myself thrown into the mix.It struck me that ‘fans’ of JLG from Heathers,Bat and &Juliet were out in force to see HIM rather than being attracted to the show itself. Not a new phenomenon, but definitely a great assurance for getting ‘bums on seats’. Each song ended with raucous applause which admittedly was very well deserved. Versatile use of the Arts Theatre stage. Could not fault any aspect of it. A transfer or a tour? Not sure if either would work without teen favourites in the leads.

Made a return visit today before it closes next week (rush in row J stalls!) and it was just as good as the first time. I really love the score. The reaction was fantastic and the whole cast give it their all. Full standing ovation as soon as the final lights went down.
It’s definitely developed a cult following. The queue for merchandise was huge! Will be surprised if this doesn’t have a future life.

It's now doing exceptionally well based on word of mouth. At Wildhorn and Friends, Wildhorn said he was keen to have a better relationship with the UK market, so I 100% see it going on tour... but I also can't see it doing well on tour...

No, same here, but for a small venue like the Arts its idea. A Shame they didn't decide on a more ambitious run, because I'm almost certain it could have comfortably run through the summer.

The Arts seems to have a strategy now of short runs, then bring back shows that are a success. So I wouldn't be surprised to see this back again.
I don't think this will tour yet. There's a big difference between a cult following in London at a small theatre in London and people knowing the show on the road.

I've seen Bonnie & Clyde four times at the Arts and if it were continuing indefinitely I would book again at least monthly, that's assuming they retained the front row low ticket price.
Last Wednesday evening the people either side of me were also repeat visitors. I agree it's quickly garnered a very loyal following. Similar to Choir Of Man, and Heathers at The Other Palace
I love the score and they achieved perfect casting in my opinion.

"House Full" must be the favourite words in the English language for a theatre entrepreneur and the words were on display yesterday.
Never seen it before - and mainly went because it was Sunday and, well, there's not much on on a Sunday - but it's a good entertaining musical, well sung and acted, very slickly staged with a few songs which are almost memorable. Couple of understudies on show but both of them, the Mickey Rooneyesque Barney Wilkinson as Clyde and Charlie McCullagh as his brother Bud, did themselves proud. Great performances from Frances McCann and Natalie McQueen too.
I see no reason why this shouldn't continue to grow. The audience, many of whom seemed to be regulars, certainly adored it.

…sold out run? Where was this? 🤣 How are the producers continuing to get away with calling this a sold out run? There were a number of empty seats when I went.

Perhaps they are referring to that ‘Golden Hour’ (fifteen minutes) when agency ticket sales are pulled just before it starts and Maureen from the box office is having to cover the merch stand so technically no further tickets can be sold ergo it is ‘sold out’ (despite most of upstairs being empty apart from the crappy cheapo side view seats.)
