Talks with Billie Piper have fallen thorough, will not lead. The production has been looking around for different theatres and at the moment seems to be the August Wilson. They desperately need a well known star to justify high ticket prices but it also seems they aren't willing to pay a lot of money... Don’t believe any of this. Billie Piper is not a name in NYC at all, and the August Wilson is way too big for Cabaret. It will go to the Hudson, which is smaller and an ATG theatre |

Are the names mentioned as in contention for Sally according to the broadwayworld board, and an online article.
August Wilson has also been rumoured

ATG have that agreement/merger with Jordan Roth's company. Plus, they probably are looking to sell more tickets than they are able at the Playhouse, if they are going to spend a boatload on a transformation again.

Amazing afternoon back at The KitKat Club - Mason Alexander Park and Emily Benjamin on as Emcee and Sally and a formidable pair they are.
It’s two years since I saw it and it just gets better and better - both funny and devastating in equal turns with an incredible ensemble.
Must book again sometime soon and when funds allow!!!!

Why is this show still charging £200 for front stalls seats (not table seats or those with food ) which is the price they were charging for Eddie Redmayne and Jessie (when she deemed to show up) Buckley when the current performers are vastly inferior in terms of name recognition? Ok, sorry I know WHY, it’s £££. What I’m asking is why people are paying that. What do people think they are getting to justify that ticket price? For shows like this, you just have to be on the look out for dynamic pricing. I managed to grab front row table stall tickets for only £80 each last year. |

If pop singers than I would like to see Olly Alexander as Emcee and maybe Kate Nash as Sally. Both have acting experience and could be an interesting pair.
