It’s a magnificent recording! God knows what’s happened with this release but hopefully it will be much more widely available asap. I think it captures the show brilliantly

It's brilliant PR. Look at all the free publicity they have got out of it. Not really, it's a very small niche of people who are interested in this and who are talking about it, and they already knew it was due to be released and have been waiting on it anyway. All its done is annoy the people that were wanting to buy it in the first place. Making a product for a small customer base not readily available to them isn't the best business move. |

Word on Twitter is that HMV have had to pull it from their shelves. They weren't meant to release it this early.

Well the album is out there now, all over the internet. Telling people to take down photos of it is the least of their problems.

What could have happened for this recording to have gotten all the way through editing, printing and shipped to stores for it to suddenly get delayed? There’s some talk of legal/contractual issues but surely that would have all been sorted before setting a release date.

I looked in HMV in Chester, not expecting anything, but actually found a copy. Also looked in Liverpool and they had the little divider but no CD.

Listened to it this afternoon. Nice recording of a show I had mixed feelings about.
Could have done with less applause. I know it’s live but it’s annoying, especially the rapturous reaction at the end where it’s quite jarring after the run of songs that come right before it.
