I wonder if they will stop asking for covid tests soon when I went to the show last week the ushers at the door said this coming Wednesday would be when they would stop asking for covid passes! I noticed my covid pass has expired and you can’t re-new them on nhs app anymore so how do you get around this do you have to take a test? |

You can still get a barcode in the travel tab...they stay valid until November 2022. |

I think they have now stopped as all covid restrictions have now been lifted.

Confirmed on the shows website that evidence of covid status is no longer required

Really? I don't think so, he would still be helping the industry to go into something else, something new. The press being back is not the same thing as being the opening cast, no build up, no awards. It just wasn't going to happen. I still think it's the sort of thing he'd really love to do. I bet he'd rather do it now than wait for the next revival. Only sticking by the conditions for playing a part that you mention, I think would be pretty shallow for any actor. And as discussed recently on another thread (or maybe it was this one), you can get nominated for a takeover. Not many get nominated for a takeover, if ever really. He may want to wait if it's going to Broadway and try there instead. This argument is moot though, because he's clearly not going in it anyway. |

About the Prologue--Is it worth getting there early to catch a substantial bit of it, and if so, what is the recommended arrival time? I'm assuming that the announced curtain time is for the show proper? 10 minutes or so before heading to your seat is enough time to get the idea of the lobby entertainment, then another 10 minutes or so for the prologue in the theater itself. I would recommend getting back to your seat quickly in the interval, as there is more entertainment going on there and it seemed more interactive with the audience than the pre-show entertainment. |
