Over the years the Perspex screen has appeared fairly regularly on stage - glad to see it still getting work during lockdown.

The trailer looks good. However I can think of a few productions where the trailer was the best thing about it so let's see. Jacobi sounding a bit frail there. Worst trailer ? That terrible one Doran put together for Troilus and Cressida in the style of a 25-year-old video game to supposedly appeal to the youth market. The theatrical equivalent of dad dancing. |

Where did they film this? Can’t work out which theatre it is ! Isn't it all CGI, or green screen, or whatever, rather than a real theatre? For maximum authenticity, they should have hung some lights from the front of the circles...and crammed a few more seats in! |

Where did they film this? Can’t work out which theatre it is ! That is a very good question - neither can I. From the seating it looks very large but there are no pillars visible and the gold stucco is quite distinctive - none of the big London theatres I could think of match. Maybe it is provincial - I had high hopes for Manchester Opera House but I don't think it is. |

The Standard is spot on -- it's dire. The Guardian review of it is a disgrace.
