After the free introductory month, it seems I've now been debited for January. Also wondering what to watch first ... and currently leaning towards Othello ...

Fantastic! I was nervous that, if there's not enough people signing up then NT might lose interest in this, but they've just added a few new plays to the site: Antigone, Behind the Beautiful Forevers, and Angels In America parts 1 & 2. They all look good and I'm especially glad for the opportunity to see Angels again.

It has to be one of those productions that will make people more likely to sign up, I've wondered so far about their play choices, whether it was just those that they have permissions to share as they haven't contained anything I thought was hugely liking to make people rush out and sign up. I mean obviously they want to spread them out to keep people paying. I find myself trying to second guess what might disappear first to inform my order of watching (as I feel I should watch everything on offer).

News that Angels is on has pushed me into signing up. Same here! I really want to see that one, and given that it's in two parts I figure it makes more sense to pay for a month, and then see if I'll want to extend the membership or cancel. (I have a distinct feeling that I already have too many subscription services, given how many things I actually watch...)

I'm so glad to get the chance to see that - the logistics of trying to get return tickets in the right order and the cost of two trips/stays in London were beyond me when it was on.

Oh are end dates on now? Great, will go check out. Yes, though more ‘available until at least...’ notification, as if they might be able to extend it later too. yeah I found them thanks, just need to find time to watch now.

I love NT At Home.
I watch about one production a month. Sometimes rewatch as well.
My recent favorites:
Prima Facie Straight Line Crazy Habit of Art Hansard
Which current productions will be filmed and made available?

I loved the Young Vic Cat on a Hot Tin Roof they have on catalogue. Those Maggie the Cat, Brick, Big Mama, Sister Woman… still thinking about them. www.ntathome.com/cat-on-a-hot-tin-roofI saved it to watch offline on a flight, ahem I had to shut things down very quickly - I had not seen it before and absolutely did not expect the full frontal nude at the start. There was probably a warning about it but I always ignore those so that’s on me. My reaction was probably out of proportion but here’s a heads up.

Dear England & The Motive and the Cue could be up for NT Live and/or a West End transfer…
I wonder how do they decide on which productions will be at NT Live but others will be at NT at Home…
Meanwhile, NT has long promised and teased on The Corn is Green for NT at Home, but it’s already been a year since the play was staged and it’s still not in the streaming library!

It isn't either/or. Many productions on NT at Home were NT Live first.

I currently have a NT at home free trial that runs out on April 7 so I'm going to try and fit in as much as I can. What are the highlights in the catalogue that people would recommend? I've already watched Mosquitoes and Yerma, enjoyed both very much. Had already watched Angels In America before. If I had the time I'd smash through everything, but some prioritisation is definitely needed given the time constraint!

The top 5 I'd watch first are
A View from the Bridge This House Twelfth Night London Assurance Ian McKellan on Stage (or swap it for King Lear if you're wanting an actual play)
The rest I have seen would be All My Sons, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Antigone, Behind the Beautiful Forevers, Best of Enemies, Dara (well I'd say this more fascinating than engaging), Frankenstein (prefer Cumberbatch's Monster and Miller's Frankenstein), Julius Caesar, King Lear, Medea, Othello (2013), The Deep Blue Sea

Just watched The House of Bernarda Alba, what a great play and production. Was it eligible for the Oliviers?

Another vote for This House from me, although I saw it as a Live Event rather than NFT at home. Also, I loved London Assurance. I can make myself laugh just by thinking of Fiona Shaw as Lady Gay Spanker.
I've also seen the Habit of Art, Hansard, Leopoldstadt and Beaux Stratagem. All interesting but my favourites were the two above.

I'm useless with tech. How do you actually watch this on a relatively new Samsung telly?
