She's currently learning the tap choreo. Glad to hear she's tapping in it, I know some, people were a bit worried she wouldn't when compared to Sutton. I'm sure she's going to be fab x Saw the interview, I can't wait now. I've been a fan of Megan for 22+ years,just want to get my new dates sorted 😔 |

Just got new dates from London Theatre direct. Same seats, same Tuesday night now end of July - about six weeks after the last change of dates.

Now everything is crossed that it happens as it’s all I have to look forward to at this point! Tragic.
Why are people buying from LTD and not just the Barbican direct? Was it cheaper or something?

I booked with TodayTix to use a voucher and it was the same price anyway. Would have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for those pesky delays |

There's no way Kathleen Marshall would have picked her if she couldn't do the choreography. This isn't like Elaine Paige or Patti LuPone who stood at the back whilst the ensemble did the choreo. You only have to look at Megan's theatre career to know she is perfectly capable of doing this. I can't wait! Wishing Meghan all the best but I still worry for her. Sutton dangerously lost a lot of weight during rehearsals. |

Oh for goodness sake .. the choreography on Broadway was just a bit of shuffling around and sticking arms out very now and again.

Would like to see this but not going to book until theatre opening is confirmed and goes ahead OK. I imagine a lot of possible punters are the same

I booked for the final week in the hope things are safer by then. Treated myself to the front row! This is definitely the kind of joyous show we need after this awful time.

Dublin are still advertising and selling original dates which is a bit naughty
Their robot sent me this standard response when I contacted them

Bit conflicted since seeing Megan Mullaley was sure to be a rare treat, but Sutton was fantastic in this role so how fun for us to see her recreate her tony winning performace. But what are the logistics with Music Man?

This makes no sense - Sutton is rehearsing The Music Man with Hugh Jackman at the minute according to his Instagram!
Not complaining, I'll be thrilled if it's true, I just can't see how it will work logistically!

Twitter is alight with the news!
Sutton will be fabulous but surely they would've sold more tickets with Megan. MT fans will be in heaven, but Joe Public won't have a clue who she is, compared to 'Karen from Will & Grace'. Still, it'll be a top quality show.
