Same old story with the seating plan... only 5 (I think) single seats, none of them calling out 'great seat', with the vast majority of seat bubbles in groups of 4, 5 and 6. Given London's new Tier 2 status which prevents mixing households indoors, just how many households of 6 are they expecting to book! Maybe some of the seat bubbles will be broken up nearer the time, but unless they are, this is one I'll be skipping. Bah humbug ;-)

Yes, just went to buy and ended up with the same outcome. There are few single seats and they're at the extreme ends of rows. I know single theatregoers aren't favoured by theatres, but I'll wait and see what's on offer nearer the time.

God this screams "singles not welcome" way more than any of the other stuff. The only singles are restricted view.
(TBF I have no interest in going; but I feel for the singletons that do).

I agree about the seating configuration - hopefully some of the six seat bubbles will become a two and two ones nearer the time.
That said I have just booked two front row stalls seats as I fortunately have a musicals-loving son and I've booked it for the evening we are seeing the Palladium Pantomime in the afternoon. He knows about the Palladium but I'll keep quiet about this one and make it a Christmas Day surprise. I also managed to get the two front row seats behind the conductor for a Les Mis concert a couple of days earlier so that's his Christmas presents sorted !

Well, they're assuming they're going to pick up a lot of four child families with the number of six person bubbles they have, aren't they?
I'd be up for going to see this just for the music, but I'm not sure my husband would and I don't like those prices for a very restricted view single. If we can get seats a bit cheaper nearer the time hopefully he can be persuaded.

In the BFI no-one sits together - bubble or not. Everyone sits a seat apart. Sounds much preferable to me than all this group seating.

That said, so far it doesn't look well sold so they might still split some of those seats up. |

Brian Conley is on This Morning saying there’s 900 seats for sale out of 2,500, there’s ten in the cast, a thirty piece orchestra and twenty in a choir but that they’ve cut back on crew by having back projections instead of all scenery.

Was at the final matinee yesterday. Just LOVED THIS! The lush sound of the orchestra plus the vocals were just stunning. Have to say I was very happily surprised.
Brian Conley again gave a great speech at the curtain down and the entire audience were on their feet.
Really hope that this becomes a regular Christmas attraction in the same way the original did at Madison Square Gardens.
