That's a much stronger cast than I was expecting. Genuinely surprised there’s no stunt casting.

I am sooo excited about this now!
What if Judi's there the same night as me?
And I recently discovered that not only did Dan Partridge go to the same school as me, his Dad is Mr Partridge the French teacher! Lovely man.

That's what Mum said when she came home after parents' evening! Or did you mean Dan?

I'm impressed they got the licensing on all the cover songs. It's a far better cast than I expected, actual talent rather than stunt casting. I might make an effort to see this; it seems like this won't be as lazy as I sort of imagined it would be.

Joe Lycett has painted the Mona Lisa Scott-Lee in conjunction with The Steps Musical. It will be on display at art galleries across the country soon (incl. The National Portrait Gallery in London) and then should be at Birmingham Art Gallery during the musical’s run in the city.

His brother James has quite a big following on social media as a singer of primary school bangers (and has been doing long before Jason Manford did), even did a couple of sets at Glastonbury which we went to and the crowd was loving it

I saw a clip of the PS Bangers thing the other day, didn't even twig the guy's name or who he was/resembled. What a family. Can't wait to bump into Mr P. in le Brum & have a catch up now! Totally outclasses Dame Judi, Sammy & David the owl man, if I'm totally honest.

So effortlessly fab. Love her! Agreed. It wasn't until I listened to this stripped-back version of the song, though, that I realised how badly constructed it is, with those weird key changes! Such a beautiful version of an old favourite track of mine.

Is it going to have life after Birmingham? I was looking at some of the later dates and it's not sold particularly well so far.

Have dates been announced for after Birmingham? Is it going to have life after Birmingham? I was looking at some of the later dates and it's not sold particularly well so far. It has the “Prior to the West End” line in its marketing and Elaine Paige said it on her radio show yesterday, but nothing confirmed so far.

It's a great vocal but the "orchestra" make Cher's Abba covers album look lavish. Sounds like something knocked out on a Casio keyboard (only). Still, I remain optimistic. No doubt this may be the kind of thing that works in the context of the show.

Claire’s solo tour programme mentions that it will be going on a UK tour next year. First preview tonight. Is anyone going? I need to wait until the Gala Night next Tuesday.
