I enjoyed the final show, perhaps more than my previous visit. And I went for a cheap seat, upper circle CCC13 but was very happy with the view for the price.
As others have said Gethsemane was pretty amazing, he deserved that applause. Judas amazing again too. A brilliant cast and nice to see a completely full house.

Thank you to everyone in this thread, I don’t normally go for shows based on “hype” and I wasn’t hugely familiar with the show, but your posts convinced me that this wasn’t to be missed and worth a trip down to see. We were in tears by the end. A truly exceptional production, I loved it. Excellent performances and I adored the choreography. Amazing atmosphere as well. Genuine thanks as I wouldn’t have booked to see this without the buzz from this board.

I agree. When the performance of Bridges that I was due to see was cancelled at the last minute (when I was on my way down on the train from Scotland to see it) I needed something to fill the empty slot and I remembered all the buzz and great reviews about JCS on here so it jumped to the top of my list. I'm so glad I took the advice from all of you as I managed to snag a last minute ticket and I loved it.

Moby Dick was recorded just for the cast, and that somehow managed to get released, and it's a pretty good recording of the show. I know I'm dreaming, but would love for the same to happen for this. I'm looking forward to hearing reports from the final performance. The atmosphere should be electric. Gutted to have never seen the show, but have this double CD and love it! Quality isn't great, but is good enough to be released. In the notes Cam Mac states that after the show closed, he kept getting letters from fans asking for non existent CDs and it was the volume of requests he got that made him release it. Sadly I can't think of any other examples where this has happened.... Anyway, I do hope this version of JCS will have a future life in the UK. Will wait and see.

You should really have posted this on Tuesday. Any news on a recording via the mixing desk?

No recording via the mixing desk sadly. Bizarrely I found an audio file on my phone though. Must have sat on it.

Shame about the lack of recording.
Some Matt Cardle fans have posted covert phone recordings from the show on Twitter linked from someone’s Soundcloud account. Mainly Pilate’s songs but I think Gethsemane was there too.

Somebody might have a pocket recording of the whole show somewhere... Have I told you lately how I love you?

Really missing this in London, is there any news about a future life? No. No news. It's done. Over. Had its time. End of. Time to move on. The end.

Robert Tripolino has uploaded an abridged cover of Gethsemane for those who enjoyed him as Jesus at the Barbican last summer.
(Apologies if by bumping this up people were hoping it would be a return or recording news!)

Though it'd be a sure fire hit if it was resurrected back into Regent's Park next year...
