There right on time to book, but looks like the only single seats on offer for Talking Heads are £55, so that rules me out.
I didn't get put in a queue. I was logged in to my account already. Don't know if that makes a difference.
Edit: There are some £25 single seats in Gallery 1, but nothing in Gallery 2.
Further Edit: Have spotted a date where someone has booked 2 seats out of a set of 3, leaving a single £15 seat available. Don't know if it's a good idea to book that one.

It wouldn't let me book a single in a pair or treble but in the end I did find a rare-as-hens-egg single on the first floor for £15. Good view. Right at the end of the run, Oct 30th. Very pleased to be back! 
I did suspect they were keeping back a few singles for release later.

I understand why but surely there are more single visitors than those that come in threes? Well, I'll keep trying as was hoping for this being my minor replacement for Kristin ST not doing Phaedra!

People do seem to have a method for booking single seats. I suspect they're using the old multiple browsers trick.

Ok, booked for all the Talking Heads, Beat The Devil and Nine Lives across a variety of seats. Was trying to book multiple performances on the same day, but the scheduling didn't work out too well. Still, something to look forward to.

I emailed the box office first thing to express my disappointment at the lack of single seats for those of us that want a quiet night out / can't be bothered to organise friends as it's like herding cats!
Very impressed to get a quick reply asking when I wanted to see Beat the Devil and they'd see what they could do. Have only just managed to check dates and have actually seen they have changed some of the seating arrangements and there are more single seats showing and at a range of prices, so worth taking another look!

Anyone who knows the theatre well able to advise if the £15 outermost side seats on row B in the stalls are worth it? I usually like being as close to the action as possible (and getting as good value as possible!) but considering the likely static nature of these monologues, would I be missing out on too much?
Alternatively, anyone know what the view is like from centre of row C in Gallery 2? It's the furthest away seat, but do you still feel close enough to the action? I can access some tickets there for £15 via my Young Bridge membership - but not sure if they're actually discounted or £15 is face value!

Yes they're blocked out for Young Bridge members only - there's usually a better spread of Young Bridge tickets across the board but I guess with such limited capacity, there's only so much they can offer. I'll go with side stalls then - and hopefully the thrust layout means they'll perform to all sides rather than just centre. |

well, I'm almost beside myself - a single, stalls, front and centre for .... 'Lesley Manville and Monica Dolan in the first double bill of Talking Heads'. Goodness! £25. Not cheap for me but bit I Hytner's hand off anyway |

Was at the Talking Heads tonight and really quite enjoyed it.
I was up high on level 2 and one of the first in so could see everyone trickle in, get confused as to where their seat was but finally get settled.
In the build up it still felt a bit flat, that pre-theatre noise is just a light mumble and although people are excited at being back there was still a bit of trepidation in the air.
Then the lights went out and the music started playing. The lights came back up and there was Monica Dolan sitting there at the table ready to talk.
And I just thought, yeah, its back, there's a stage, an audience, a set, some music, direction. Boxes ticked.
The Shrine is there as a bit of a warm up, nice story, lovely acting. But the beauty here is Bed amongst the lentils. Lovely characterisation, cleverly written to slowly reveal and reveal, and Lesley Manville is quite excellent portraying it all.
Today, when the lights came down at the end, all those gaps in the audience didn't seem quite so far apart, we all cheered, both actresses came on and we cheered some more. Yeah we all love doing this bit.
Monologues are quite a stripped out form of theatre, just a person up there telling a story. But its how we start. We do this, we learn some lessons. We do the next thing, we learn some more.
This was normal, this was so nice.

They have released the front two rows of the stalls for all performances of Evening With An Immigrant - £10 or £15, with four sets of double seats and two singles. I think they did the same for Beat The Devil - I was certainly able to book a £10 seat after it was previously sold out.
Possibly they do this after they've worked out the staging in case they need to keep the front row clear?

I'm so happy to have been able to book a ticket for Tamsin Greig and Maxine Peak, and particularly to have had the opportunity to look through a season and choose something rather than scramble for anything going. I love the Bridge and can't wait to get back there.
I was very limited in looking for a less expensive single ticket though and ended up paying £42.50 for what, in usual times, I'm pretty sure is a £25 seat. I obviously understand the need to do that, but it's sad that a theatre that was previously so accessible in financial terms (best £15 seats I've come across in London) has had to increase prices so much. (I also know that I have missed out on the cheapest seats by not being quicker off the mark.)
