Did anybody see this when it played at the Gielgud in ’05? From reading the reviews, it appears that a lot of changes were made to modernize and “open up” Christie’s original play. It would also seem that the show hasn’t been made available since the original production… was it really that bad?

I really enjoyed it, don't remember it being overly modernised. Do remember Marston's death being fairly spectacular and them keeping the original ending rather than the messy two survivors too many versions leave

It was handsome but hollow and largely forgettable. Gemma Jones was good, as always.
