Hasn't anyone else seen it? I can't find a thread.
I saw it last night. I didn't love it. It's not a play I know, but it seemed to be a pale imitation of their Julius Caesar production. Same set, similar costumes, same types of ways of presenting things. Except that I had no idea who I was meant to feel any sympathy for. Alex Young was good, in that everything she said made sense, which is more than can be said for everyone else. But overall, I felt like I'd wasted an evening. But that was clearly not the popular opinion, it got loads of cheers and whistles at the end.
