Runs in the Quarry Theatre from 23 September to 31 October, with press night on 1 October. I wonder if Sir Tom himself will be there, by which time he will be 80!

Public booking opens tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10am. Matinees on Saturdays at 2pm (from 26 September) and Thursdays at 1.30pm (from 8 October).

That’s a bargain indeed. Not just preview pricing either, it seems to be £14 all through the run. 

Im going the week after, gone for a bit further back in the centre section. Well, I had a theatretoken so it was free, sort of 😁

 Important information about your booking for What's New Pussycat?.

We hope you’re staying safe during these unusual times.

As you know, following government instructions theatre buildings are currently closed to the public. What’s New Pussycat? is a new musical, which we’re creating from scratch along with our co-producers. Unfortunately, due to the current situation we aren’t able to get the award-winning team together to prepare the show for audiences this September. We are however, working hard to reschedule the dates and we’ll be back in touch with more information as soon as possible.

As a ticket holder, you don’t need to do anything right now.

We are really disappointed to have to do this but the wellbeing of our Playhouse community, including audiences, artists, participants and staff, continues to be our highest priority.

We are currently adjusting to our new working environment and dealing with bookings on a show by show basis. We thank you for your patience during this time and ask that you only call our Box Office Team if your enquiry is urgent.

Email today saying they’ve been unable to reschedule so far and offering the money back. It didn’t say it wasn’t going to happen, but seems doubtful. I’ve taken the £50.

I didn't realise this was a jukebox musical based on a book, not a bio-musical. Sounds much more interesting now! Plus it looks like a pretty solid cast with Bronte Barbe and Kelly Price.

Is it intending to move elsewhere after? I made the trip to the REP once to see Little Voice with Nancy Sullivan . its a short walk from Bham New Street station , but would rather not venture that far again now?
