What a clever idea Tom Jones/ Tom Jones ? and Luke Shepard is the perfect guy to direct it.

^Already sold on this...love the artwork...never been to the Playhouse in Leeds so that will be fun providing I don’t get rejected at the Yorkshire border for my ‘Coronation Street’ accent 😆

Runs in the Quarry Theatre from 23 September to 31 October, with press night on 1 October. I wonder if Sir Tom himself will be there, by which time he will be 80!

Bit scared by Arlene Phillips choreographing it. Her best years are behind her to put it politely.

Front row stalls ticket sorted for the first Saturday matinee. Well I hope the Playhouse are going to put a warning on the seat behind - "Restricted view due to constant dancing". 🕺🙂

Front row stalls ticket sorted for the first Saturday matinee. For £14, an absolute bargain. That’s a bargain indeed. Not just preview pricing either, it seems to be £14 all through the run. Im going the week after, gone for a bit further back in the centre section. Well, I had a theatretoken so it was free, sort of 😁

Email today saying they’ve been unable to reschedule so far and offering the money back. It didn’t say it wasn’t going to happen, but seems doubtful. I’ve taken the £50.

I didn't realise this was a jukebox musical based on a book, not a bio-musical. Sounds much more interesting now! Plus it looks like a pretty solid cast with Bronte Barbe and Kelly Price.

Harry Kershaw being in the cast should bring in the Mischief Theatre fans!

Is it intending to move elsewhere after? I made the trip to the REP once to see Little Voice with Nancy Sullivan . its a short walk from Bham New Street station , but would rather not venture that far again now?
