Thanks for the heads-up, I managed to find a £15 second row ticket for later this month. I saw it on Broadway and it was a really moving, beautiful production. I'm excited to see it in a more intimate venue.

Around me I could hear crying and afterwards the wom was really strong. I wasn't moved - am I dead inside? I thought the plays themes weren't fleshed out enough and the result was an episodic evening of a few facts.
It's really stylish production that is great to look at. Although from the front row a lot of the Brechtian titles are not always visible.
Great to hear a bit of klezmer and to see Alexandra Sillber and Beverley Klein back on stage though.

Those of you who have already seen Indecent, how did you feel about the covid policy at the Menier? I would love to see this play, but am concerned about the space restrictions and the snugness at the theatre, it is really impossible to distance from your neighbour. From the website, their covid precautions don't seem to be brilliant. How did people feel about it, did you feel comfortable there? TIA.

Mask usage was pretty high but I don't recall there being any request or reminder for people to wear them. Zero distancing in the queues for the toilets, bar and in/out of the auditorium.
So really comfort levels will be up everyone individually I think.

Enjoyed the matinee today. Theatre was very full and the play got a great reaction. I really agree with an earlier comment referring to this as both epic in size of story yet also very intimate. A very engaging piece.

londonpostie knew you were on the lookout for a deal so posted as soon as I found one knowing you would see it, booked for later in the month. There we’re plenty of options when I booked so it looks as if the offer has been successful.

The last show I saw in LA ( on a night they had an earthquake ). I can’t begin to say how spectacular that production was. The final moment will be forever seared in my memory. Don’t miss it.

This shook me very deeply. I knew virtually nothing going in but it was very poignant and seemed even more relevant for 2021 than it would’ve done for 2020. All the actors and the band were on top form and switched characters seamlessly. You could feel the Menier Chocolate Factory stand still at moments, totally in awe of the art on display. The ending will stay with me for a long time too. Please go if you can - this is what necessary theatre looks like.

Saw this today and fully agree. Still running for a few weeks and absolutely worth seeing so do go if you haven't. Unexpectedly funny, fantastic staging, great performance all around. Very intimate also considering the tiny theatre,

Saw this at a matinee today and am so pleased that I did. The Menier benches haven't got any more comfortable and I do wish they'd put, say, one less seat on each row so that you're not in danger of sitting on a stranger's lap but the discomfort was worth it. Given the age profile of the audience I'm guessing that most of us were triple jabbed and mask wearing was well adhered to. Only two or three performances left and I would certainly recommend it.
