Tried booking, keep getting the same message: You must have a valid performance selected. As it's the only performance on the ATG website I'm guessing all the tickets have gone. As it's also got Alfie Allen, Jonathan Broadbent and Marc Wootton I'm guessing this is a precursor to an actual play rather than just a few folks sitting having a reading for the fun of it so maybe I'll go for that further down the line, but thanks for the notice Xanderl.

Unlikely, Jamie Lloyd's done play-readings with great cast members before that were only ever a one-off and have yet to turn into full productions.

The ATG booking site for this is working now. Tickets are available.

Thanks for that, I just booked too (didn't bother following my own advice last night ) There seems to be an issue with the site - on the browser I normally use I got "you must have a valid performance selected" - switched to a different browser and was able to book. So possibly an issue with cached information or cookies, if you're having the same problem as Marwood.

Thanks for that Xanderl, switched from Chrome to Explorer and had no more problems.

So here's a challenge - this reading starts at 9:30, unallocated seating so I guess some queuing would be involved. So what evening shows could be fitted in?
Looks like Elegy at the Donmar and Boy at the Almeida would work (both 70 minutes), any other options?

Sh*t-Faced Shakespeare is on at Leicester Square Theatre at 7, but I don't know how long the show lasts, if it's over by nine should give you plenty of time to walk to the Trafalgar Studios.

I've booked for it. Was contemplating doing that one-man Boris satire beforehand, but sh*t-faced Shakespeare sounds like way more fun so I'm off to check the running time....
It's just an hour, so yes could easily be fitted in. Though having read a couple of reviews I'm not sure if you can enjoy it if you're sober, which I will be.

I just spotted potential for a three show day! There's a Friday matinee of "I Have Been Here Before" at Jermyn Street.

Another option would be "All That Fall" at the Arts Theatre - 1 hour starting at 8:00

Hmmm, if it's that long, I might have to bail, it would mean I'd be lucky to be home by 1 in the morning.

Asked them on twitter and they said "We think it should be finished by 10.15"
(which seems odd given the run time of the French production but let's see!)

Thanks, maybe I'll give the theatre a call tomorrow (I had a look on Amazon the other day and the printed version runs at about 60 pages, so unless there is much theatrical hi-jinks I can't see how anyone could stretch it out to nearly 2 hours)

Interesting evening. Lasted about an hour in the end.
Wasn't familiar with the play, VERY similar setup to Reservoir Dogs, I'm sure Tarantino must have seen or read it. Would be interesting to see a full staged version

I ended up missing it entirely as I'm still not feeling well - sounds like I made the right choice, as I wouldn't have got home until gone midnight again.
Did anyone else go?

Glad you enjoyed it Xanderl, I went and saw Green Room at the cinema instead (excellent film), I wasn't feeling a million dollars myself and didn't fancy sitting on those Trafalgar seats for God knows how long.
