With the success of the Palladium Pantos, I was wondering if Qdos has a contract to do a new panto there every year. I seem to remember there was a 3 year contact but I though that was finished this year. Does anyone know if they will be doing another panto next year too?
thanks

The Initial 3-Year Contract ended last year - (Cinderella, Dick Whittington & Snow White) and was renewed again for a further 3 years, with Goldilocks being the first in this new deal.
It has been advertised that the Panto WILL be returning and has been labelled with ‘5th Year’ show!

I don't know about anyone else but I would like to see a change. I love Juluan Clary and would always watch him but all the Nigel jokes are getting stale. And did Dame Gary even have a tongue twister song last year? Also very intrigued as to whether ticket prices will be as extortionate as usual given the current circumstances.

*YAWN* from me I'm afraid - Nigel Havers and the impressionist could have lived without the first (only) time I went. That said I'm not really a Panto person; and I don't doubt will do very well!
(Also part of me was hoping if Joseph did get postponed would be to Xmas - not sure can wait till 2021 lol)

Joseph is kinda on the cusp of the (admittedly earliest and most optimistic) predictions of when things could re-open. If doesn't make it wonder if could do Autumn then - or if really would be next year. (I suppose at least I did get to see it repeatedly last year!)

I still think they will move it to summer 2021, especially as lots of families will be going- having a full summer holiday run would be the ideal.

That is also my gut feeling - and the new timings for this year (two Sunday shows, none Mon/Tues) definitely shows they are after that market. Although on the other hand, it sold SO well, think would be a great success at any time of year :-) Does the Palladium have much booked in for the Autumn other than one nighters, am not sure....
